The Big Double Cross.... :Wink
" Partners in Governing "

From today's Washington Post

Rep. John P. Murtha (D-Pa.) , a leading Democratic critic of the war and a candidate to be the new House majority leader, told National Public Radio that the change of power in the House "is going to change politics" on the war. "You get the committee system working in a bipartisan manner -- and that's the only way this problem can be solved -- and then we confront the president on the issue," he said.

Vin Weber, a lobbyist and former GOP lawmaker with close ties in the White House, said Iraq may have actually become more complicated for the Democrats with the election results. "The Democrats have had it easy so far -- they have just been able to criticize and identify with the voters' frustration," he said. "Now they are going to have to become partners in governing."........

Losses on ballot measures jolt religious

By DAVID CRARY, AP National Writer

From the country's heartland, voters sent messages that altered America's culture wars and dismayed the religious right — defending abortion rights in South Dakota, endorsing stem cell research in Missouri, and, in a national first, rejecting a same-sex marriage ban in Arizona.

Conservative leaders were jolted by the setbacks and looked for an explanation Wednesday. Gay-rights and abortion-rights activists celebrated.

The verdict on abortion rights was particularly clear. Oregon and California voters defeated measures that would have required parents to be notified before a girl under 18 could get an abortion, and South Dakotans — by a margin of 56 percent to 44 percent — rejected a new state law that would have banned all abortions except to save a pregnant woman's life.

"This was really a rebellion in the heart of red-state, pro-life America — the heart of the northern Bible Belt," said Sarah Stoesz, head of the
Planned Parenthood chapter that oversees South Dakota. "It sends a very strong message to the rest of the country."

Bird flu expert selected to head WHO

By ELIANE ENGELER, Associated Press Writer - Wed Nov 8

GENEVA - Bird flu expert Dr. Margaret Chan was selected Wednesday
as the world's top health official, making her the first Chinese national
chosen for such a high-ranking U.N. post, delegates said.

The victory for China, which had nominated Chan, indicated Beijing's interest in playing a bigger role in global affairs.

Absolutely. Now that we have a shot at that crack in the Liberty Bell--

DON'T LOSE THE MOMENTUM

Liked your use of the term "suits" for the bumper crop of new brooms.
They're already talking a lot like we do, saying the issues they know we're getting rowdy over...
And already keeping it narrow. Didn't hear a thing today about 911, or the PATRIOT Act and the pile of corrosion and totalitarian intrusions of the last 5 years.
How long has it been since you heard "rights to privacy" mentioned by a politician or MSM?

And by the end of the day they're already practically giving hugs to each other--the standing Republicans and winning Democrats, led by the kind 'bygones be bygones' speeches of Pelosi and Bush.
And the sacrifice of the neocon "lightning rod" Donald Rumsfeld.

But you're right to mention, Fintan, that we're educated now. Not like '92 when we were just dazed and confused after 12 years of the first wave of a whole new kind of psychological warfare launched in 1980.

We're educated now, and you nailed it:
WATCH THE POLICIES THAT DON'T CHANGE.

State Department Policies never change with House/Senate/Executive .
That's because the public forgives and forgets far too quickly when the Velvet Glove is on.

The digital/electronic psywar is a double edged sword. Most get brainwashed by the sensory/disinformation overload, many get fabulously well educated instead. I think that's because the way their psywar strategy works is they do tell you the truth, or it's there to be seen. So they just cover it up under googles of bull hocky. In that sense, they can no longer really keep secrets---everything gets exposed. So they dumb bulldozers of crap to confound. But the minds which are free to be discriminate can deduce and find the truth, and knowlege is power.

When 'Bipartisan' is the new buzz word of the year only a day after the election, pay strict attention.

Were the Iron Fist boys and girls 'bipartisan' when they took control of the House, Senate, and Executive branch?
No. They vowed GOP rule. Forever.

I'll put forth the analogy that the premise in family dynamics terms is to play up to the 'battered wife syndrome' complex that the American mass mind does suffer from. With all this touchy feely we're about to witness going on between 'kinder, gentler" GW Buxh and others, it's not to be forgot what a bully public beating jerk these guys have been all the way back to the 1999 summer campaign.

They also assume that 911 has gone down the memory hole--solved and sealed by an Oliver Stone movie, a summer of TV drama, and the death verdict of Saddam Hussein.

They assume we'll wait patiently for an 'exit strategy' to be worked out by a bipartisan trust between Pelosi and Jim Baker.

Thanks for the audio, Fintan, and for the reminder that this is just a slightly different phase of the NWO plan.

Rather than hearing why the three towers collapsed in controlled demolition or why we are moving more and more to a total police state, the Democrats give us such tried and true gems as "Stop price gouging at the gas pump".

They really must believe(perhaps rightly so) that the American voters are just a bunch of morons.

We love those stories of gas pump price gouging here in Australia too. 'sif the gouging is happening at the pump. It's just a fake story for investigative journalists working TV current affairs.

The leading edge of the wedge. The cutting edge. Great analogy Fintan, I like it and I'll buy it.

We need to expand that wedge of knowledge horizontally as we drive deeper, so what say we set up a network of websites. The CIA fakes had a great run using the web site business model as their medium and I'm sure we can do it much better. The difference being we will publish the hard news with footnoted, documented facts, not spinning bullshit like they do.

We have the necessary skillsets and an intelligent, determined community here. We can extend and reach others while accelerating the awakening process for our human family. And of course an opportunity for us to learn more too.

Each web master (or small group) could be a specialist (so to speak) researching and reporting on what he/she knows, prefers, or is good at. In this manner all the important issues (or subject areas) can be thoroughly and professionally covered.

We will grow fast in this "social network" that IS the Internet model.

I know how to set it up. I know how to promote and compete with the MSM and Blogs. I have the tools for the task and the desire to get it done. Men such as Continuity have the skillsets for this too and probably many others here, as I have noticed.

And finally, we can do it on the cheap. Whaddya think, anyone game? Shoot holes in it if you want or maybe you have other ideas?

Right On!
Brainstorming post. Wink

True. We need a focussed approach to outreach.
And the benefits are there if we do. And I haven't
put enough attention to this issue.

Timing is good now too. Laughing

I'll set up a topic for developing these ideas and
if anyone wants to help brainstrom this, send me
a quick blank PM with subject "Outreach".

Anybody else got suggestions, comments?

Great audio Fintan.

I only take issue with one detail - I don't think the Senate situation was "almost botched" or however you phrased it. I think the Senate makeup is exactly as they intended, and it's brilliant. I looks like a Dem majority, but it's not. The Lieberman op now makes sense to me - that ideological ostracizing food fight was a setup for how many times he jumps off the Dem ship on national security issues and phony Terror War votes, leaving Cheney to be The Decider. (At the risk of repeating myself.) That's just my opinion, of course (thanks to my more developed sense of political cynicism, most recently thanks to you). Cool

And as long as the Democratic masses think they've got both houses, I think the fever burns out a little... the torches get a little damp as they approach Capitol Hill. Let's face it, after 6 years of this Reich-Wing majority crap, everyone is still angry, but a little... tired. Now we can all relax, right? We have both houses! Wrong. But a little political apathy goes a long way when you're trying to stay abreast of developments between the 2 jobs you have to work now to make ends get closer together (I gave up making them actually meet years ago. They wave at each other through the fog. Next year I switch to Naval beacons.) Confused

And right-on about the upcoming impeachment misdirection. The Pelosi camp vs. Murtha camp are going to do what the managed truth movement did for 9/11 - drag it out endlessly, and end up in a hung jury. Charges brought (maybe), nothing sticks, Clinton Redux. Hey, and just like Monikagate, maybe we'll even get some (homo)sexual overtones added in to keep the housewives glued to the debate - and the Jeff Gannon op also reveals it's usefulness. Liberal Democratic Congresspersons, brutally torn in two over their desire to see justice served and their mission to always defend the gay lifestyle. Oh the homo-anity! Laughing

Anyway.... another great, thought-provoking audio. More More More!!!!!!

Cool

p.s. Great idea, obey, with the "Outreach" program.

Hey Fintan,

Another great "podcast".

I really like you as an antidote to my obsessive monitoring of the more depressing parapolitical analysis out there.

We should start a checklist of the things that we think the Democratic Party would really do if it were actually liberal, and actually represented the desires of its constituency...

[ ] - Repeal the Patriot Act
[ ] - Repeal the Military Commissions Act
[ ] - End the war in Iraq
[ ] - Establish a truly idependent 9-11 investigation
[ ] - Re-write and pass some of the anti war-profiteering legislation they tried to push through in 2005 (but knew of course that it would fail)
[ ] - Start enforcing anti-trust laws against the major media conglomerates

If even one of these boxes gets checked, I will be surprised... and i'm sure there are many i have left out. this checklist (which will, of course, remain blank) might be effective in convincing democratic voters that the Democratic Party--despite their rhetoric--is acting in exactly the same fashion as the Republican Party.
