The daughter of an ultranationalist Russian ideologue and ally of Vladimir Putin has been killed in a car bomb on the outskirts of Moscow.
etc., etc., etc.
I presume that this article has been culled from The Grauniad?

The thing that strikes me most immediately is their use of language such as, "Russian hawks without evidence
This is identical to the language that the same outlets immediately deployed to deny the blatant 2020 American election fraud.
("Trump has claimed, without evidence, that the election was stolen," "Trump's baseless claims about election fraud..." etc.)
That alone tells me that the Russian claims are spot on.
At the same time, I cannot help but wonder about the failure of Russian security services to safeguard this vehicle.
How on earth is it possible for anybody to install a bomb in the vehicle of such a high-level official without being caught in the act or without anybody at least checking the car before it was driven away?
These safety checks are pretty standard procedure for anybody who is in any kind of danger.
I remember a few years ago that even the manager of the Celtic football club in Scotland was being protected more efficiently by the Scottish police against death threats and as a matter of routine they checked his car for potential sabotage every time he intended to drive anywhere.
Why did Russian security fail so terribly to safeguard the car which belonged to a close Putin ally?
