Yes I agree that might be more accurate or logical. But the whole thing was kicked off by a Student after he seen the BBC outrageously promoting Black lives matter advocating to "Defund the Police"skinters wrote:I keep telling people don't ask to defund the BBC just decriminalize non payment and the rest will take care of its self.
So in that context "Defund the BBC" is pretty dam poetic. And it certainly appears thus far that the act of promoting the concept of "Defunding the Police" may very well be the Rock the BBC ultimately perishes on. Lets hope so.

This Anti Police stuff seems to be more of a far left ideology. Probably because the police stop them destroying everything.
I don't think police sit in their stations dreaming up ways to hassle people over Covid
I would guess those orders are coming from Government.

The broadcaster has faced controversy over its use of personal service company (PSC) arrangements, which left some employees owing sums to HMRC while losing out on benefits such as sick and maternity pay.
It comes as the corporation is dealing with the fallout from the findings of the report from Lord Dyson into Martin Bashir’s 1995 Panorama interview with Diana, Princess of Wales.
