Everything one hears about the BBC in the last year or two seems negative. It's like watching a train wreck and Public Opinion seems to be tanking in real Time.
It is an absolute monster of a Corporation but appears to be trying to destroy itself rather than trying to adapt.
More and more people are refusing to pay so hows it all gonna end?
It could be interesting to see what happens in the next year or two or five?
Predictions please!!
Lets Defund and destroy the Marxist BBC.

Let's make no mistake the BBC is a Mind Control Swamp of Evil with it's Question Time Audiences and Panels pretending to mimic public opinion and their Soaps with non stop Gay Couple romances and grown men Kissing in the local pub portrayed as normal.noplacebo wrote:https://consortiumnews.com/2021/02/22/r ... rn-agenda/
Then theres the endless Guilt tripping of white people and non stop Emotional blackmail documentaries showing illegal Immigrants as victims of white hate!
But put all that to the side... Why not stick your neck out and make a Bold prediction about whats going to happen to it.
Apparently the BBC has started a £4.00 a month Subscription to a few Foreign Countries...??? Could this be a dry run before they roll out the same model for its UK future???

Who cares?
All i know is i canceled my licence with them a long time ago, and dont watch it. The only time i hear about them is through some woke bullshit they took part of. Its all about Race, sex, and gender they are obsessed with it.
I predict they will continue to milk it for all its worth. As long as they have the government backing them they wont change.
Boris actually campaigned on abolishing or at the least clamping down on the tv licence fee. What did he do instead?...put the fee up.

I hear what you're saying but hatred of the BBC seems to be increasing rapidly especially online and I would guess it will come to a head in the next year or two, and those people who seem to genuinely despise it on an increasing number of social media platforms know its demise coming.skinters wrote:Who knows?je-demande wrote:

Unlike the Brexit it tried to destroy the BBC "will" be destroyed by the People it denounced & betrayed not the establishment or Boris. Which is quite ironic.

The problem arises from the fact there are enough people who either dont care or dont have the energy to protest the BBC in the way it would bring them to their knees. I know quite a few people who just dont want the hassle of for instance canceling their licence even through they can do so legally.je-demande wrote:

Last year the BBC income was 4.9 billion of this 3.52 billion was from UK licence fees.
Last year the BBC lost 40 million through non payment of the tv licence. A lot of that comes from people just being sick of what they stand for, and that loss in revenue will no doubt continue to be lost for them.
Hatred of the BBC is increasing, and the future doesn't look good.
The TV licence could be scrapped by 2027 after the government announced that it would launch a detailed and “open-minded” review of the BBC’s funding model.
Baroness Morgan of Cotes, the culture secretary, put the long-term future of the licence fee in doubt this morning as she also confirmed that the government was consulting on decriminalising licence fee evasion by 2022.
So next year or two?...no as it wont be under review for another 6yrs. Its the decriminalising of non payment of the licence thats more important, but they will be afraid to do that as people will leave in their millions.
The other thing worth mentioning as well is young people. Today people just want to use Netflix, and Amazon prime etc to get thier content. They have no nostalgia for the BBC, and dont even know what its about. Its that with a combination of a dislike for them in general which will force the BBC to go fully into a subscription only service, and either take a loss, but it wont be the end for them.

Basically I think it's a massive anomaly which defies logic and the groundswell against it is 100% organic. Almost everyone who "wakes up" becomes an active criticskinters wrote:The problem arises from the fact there are enough people who either dont care or dont have the energy to protest the BBC in the way it would bring them to their knees. Thats why I think something will happen in the short to medium term.
People have eventually realised they have been forced to pay for Far Left Propaganda and this is basically what's driving it. Don't get me wrong it won't be destroyed completely but it will be a small fraction of what it is now, it's brand is in the gutter.

Its been a British institution for over a 100yrs. Its not going to go down without a fight. It will still have enough people to watch its programs to keep it alive, but the game is up. I think it doesn't know what it wants or is anymore. Its been taken over by the woke disease, and maybe is caught up in its own bullshit, and doesnt know a way out of it.je-demande wrote:

If it's been a "British institution for over a 100yrs" then its crash will be more spectacular.skinters wrote: Its been a British institution for over a 100yrs. Even the far left should be trying to destroy it as a pillar of Empire.
I have noticed it seems to be "its trendy now to openly despise the BBC"
