"I just spoke with Alexa Lavoie, our brave reporter who was just assaulted by Trudeau's police," said Ezra Levant. "She tells me a cop hit her three times with a club and then shot a tear gas canister at her leg from point-blank range. Trudeau has instructed his police to attack journalists."
"Alexa says she was specifically targeted by a cop who saw her camera. She says he came up to her and beat her and pushed her down. She says he tried to knock the phone out of her hands, to stop her from filming," Levant added, noting that police were captured on film beating a woman with a stick, and shooting her at point-blank range with a tear gas round.
"I have spoken with Alexa and with legal counsel. We will sue the police on Alexa's behalf. I know the rest of the Media Party is delighting at Trudeau's brutality and martial law. But we still believe in peace and freedom," said Levant.
Judge to issue Tuesday bail decision for protest organizer Tamara Lich

An Ottawa judge will decide Tuesday whether to grant bail to convoy protest leader Tamara Lich.
The 49-year-old Alberta woman will remain in the Ottawa Carleton Detention Centre until then.
Her bail hearing was adjourned after several hours on Saturday, with Ontario Court Justice Julie Bourgeois saying she wanted to take the time necessary to render a decision.
Lich, president of the Freedom Convoy 2022 organization, was charged with counselling to commit mischief in connection with the protests that have snarled Ottawa for more than three weeks. She had been arrested Thursday evening.
There was no publication ban on evidence heard at the bail hearing, which shed new light on the inner workings of convoy organizers.
Lich’s husband testified that he flew to Ottawa on Feb. 2 on a private jet, the $5,000 cost of which was covered by a “really nice gentleman” he didn’t really know.
Tamara Lich appeared in person, wearing a mask in the prisoner’s box of an Ottawa courtroom.
She testified she just wanted to return to Alberta to be with her husband and kids, and she pledged a $5,000 bond, saying that was all she could afford......
Lich is a former energy industry worker and a leader within the “Wexit” movement pushing for the independence of western provinces.
She was also involved with the Canadian “Yellow Vest” protests and the smaller “United We Roll” truckers’ protest convoy of 2019.
LIch started the GoFundMe campaign for the truckers’ convoy and has appeared at media conferences to speak for demonstrators, whom she had repeatedly told to “hold the line” against police attempts to end the occupation.
Another prominent protest organizer, Patrick King of Red Deer, Alta., is expected to appear at a bail hearing early next week after being arrested on Friday.

Freeeland is a fan of George Soros and has been pictured with him more than once. Soros helped the Nazis in his youth.
