I've had some bad and mediocre experiences in respect of opening some minds to the reality of deep corruption on all things important. I've failed more times than succeeded, BUT for the few that I have made progress, I think that I have had a good effect.
Mostly I end up disagreeing about what was said in MSM, CNN, NYT, FOX whatever, I'll regard them all as equality bullshit. But anything outside of that reporting, most people have no clue to respond, and go back to the MSN views.
I want to know what the forum members tactic's are in red-pilling.
Best red pill practices
Small question - huge answer!!
That's actually a topic that goes to the heart of the matter.
I'm posting this as a placeholder and expect to edit it a bit.
There are so many variables in the topic and the person to enlighten.
Depends on their education, culture, specific biases, mental flexibility, etc.
I know people who backed me on HIV, yet thought my 9/11 take was nuts!
And the other way around!!
There are academic studies of the techniques of persuasion and
I suppose we could look at them, but this is a deep and broad topic
about ideas outside normal mainstream debate.
Cool.

Minds are like parachutes.
They only function when open.
They only function when open.
Sure! and so many variables when you add in more and more subjects.Fintan wrote: I know people who backed me on HIV, yet thought my 9/11 take was nuts!

It will never end, but I guess the question then would be about opening
minds up to alternative views, which I guess is self explanatory.
But more insights shared would be appreciated.

Letting go of known but flawed certainties is an unnerving business.
You don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Yep, pretty much the best technique I can think of too
Easily done online, kind of uncomfortable to be that asshole making fun of such serious, world saving politics in real life.
But yeah, it's the only way

IMO - I think there are different things that can make one become more open minded.. in my case it was being in a strange country with a strange language watching cable TV in English in my hotel room and one day realising it was at complete odds with the local News which I knew was verifiably true. In this kind of environment without language so to speak you seem to notice body language etc more and become more deeply aware of everything around you. An instinct I think dwells in us all but is repressed by modern life.just0 wrote:I've had some bad and mediocre experiences in respect of opening some minds to the reality of deep corruption on all things important. Someone told me when I was trying to learn Portugeese that nearly 70% of the info exchanged between people had Zero to do with the spoken word. Anyway true or not this I think helps explain why most of your friends etc won't take anyone like Alex Jones or David Icke serious. Most people don't even care what Alex Jones is saying... they are repelled at his Volume, demeanour and general lunatic behavior which is all of course intentional. Ickes Alien Lizard people has the same effect.
When people look the pair up to see how they are perceived by others they will see they are smeared as a nutcases etc. Many people will then ridicule the pair themselves to protect themselves. Most people only worry how they will be perceived if they identify with the likes of Jones & Icke without even realizing their MO

The Likes of Bill Hicks and Bill Cooper were the opposite to Jones and Icke.
Hicks talks about Waco at 54 mins
