VIDEO: CATHERINE CORLESS ON LATE LATE SHOW

Standing Ovation from 22mins on
THE WEEK THAT CHANGED IRELAND

News broke Friday 3rd March that Catherine Corless had been right
after all about mass graves of infant remains in Tuam, Co. Galway.

By Sunday 5th March we had emailed the Attorney General
asking for consideration of using the Genocide Act of 1973.

Also Sunday we also put an interview in the can with Pat Kenny, who
broke news the Genocide request to AG at 9am Mon 6th - opening the
show with Kathy's interview, a stark piece.

That radio show set the news agenda for the week.

Indeed later Monday Kathy also opened the Claire Byrne TV show with
her own account of the loss of her baby and then her re-connection with
her now adult daughter. She demanded on air that ground examinations
be done at other Homes.

On Wed 8th Kathy's emotional story on LMFM blew thru the station news
slot during a 35 minute storm of revelations, including her eyewitness
testimony on the fourth pregnancy of a 37yr-old woman with mental
capacity of a 7yr old.

All through last week other First Mothers members were also coming out
telling their stories on air and in print: Sharon McGuigan, Joan McDermott,
and Sharon Smyth.

As the week drew to a close, on Friday AM, Kathy roundly rejected Minister
Zappone's ambiguous offer of further State inquiries into these matters.

Finally, that Friday evening, the stunning standing ovation [see Video]
for Catherine Corless on the Late Late TV show drew a truly revolutionary
week in changing attitudes to a close with strong public support.

Yesterday Kathy's group ceased cooperation with the existing Commission
of Investigation until they get an answer their Genocide issues letter.

Women stood up for Truth last week.

The Ireland Of Dark Secrets is Dead.

Last week ended it

Sorry for the protracted absence folks but two months
of hard graft activism, media and lobbying has finally
come to a head in the last 10 days or so. Fruitfully.

Y'know already I suppose that this is NOT a talk activism website.
We walk the walk. We do it for real. Hardcore street level action.

For example:

It's now just a week since the First Mothers
lodged a formal Genocide claim against the
Irish State's Attorney General.

That news made the Sunday Times:
Image

HAS IRELAND COMMITTED #GENOCIDE
AGAINST UNWED MOTHERS?
Read: http://bit.ly/Genocide-Irl
During the week since the formal charge I got a chance to outline
our reasoning for the claim in the above on air interview.

Also during the week the Government indicated that the currrent
official inquiry would not probe deeper into treatment of women
-meaning the inquiry has proven to be the sellout we predicted.

No problem.

We are no longer relying on government inquiry to establish Truth.

We are putting the Government and Church on trial by means of
our own internet broadcast Genocide Public Inquiry.

The first living witnesses to Genocide will testify next Wednesday.

More Details in our Media Release:
Mothers Announce Own Public Inquiry Into Genocide
By Fintan Dunne - April 11, 2017

11th March, 2017 - Irish First Mothers is to conduct it's own Public Inquiry into Mother and Baby Homes and practices of coercion in pregnancy . The inquiry will feature broadcast of public testimony relevant to our genocide claim against the Irish State -which was served by recorded delivery on the Attorney General today. And again this weekend, the SundayTimes's well-respected

Well it's been a while since an update here, so it may
come as a surprise to hear the campaign has been
successful
at breaking thru into media and has swung
enough Upper House Senators to our side that the
Government could not pass any related legislation and
has had a major rethink on it's stonewalling approach.

As a result, the Gov. will now formalize a structure to
include folks who suffered under these regimes in a
consultative forum to help form the solutions. We've
already attended the first productive forum meeting.
The era of no-real-consultation decisions is over.

Image

And the Gov. has now invited the UN Special Rapporteur on the
promotion of truth, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence,
Mr. Pablo deGreiff, to visit Ireland. That brings an end to previous
avoidance of intl. human rights oversight.

These are very positive developments.

They come after the government admitted that there were indeed close to
800 infant remains found in a mass unmarked grave at the Tuam site.

The heavy lifting is done and 2018 will afford ample time to prepare for
publication of a final report by the Government inquiry at the year end.

Here's Kathy today, discussing the possible excavation options
to deal with this Tuam location and a host of other such sites at religious
grounds across Ireland:

I regret this being my first post here, but I have been screaming into the void about this for well over a year and lost friends and family in the process. This is just one aspect of the skulduggery our "leaders" are iinto.

This MUST be exposed far and wide to red pill the sleeping masses before we can ever hope to take back our personal sovereignty and birth right from the psychopaths intent upon world domination.

It is a very difficult topic to have in one's consciousness so I understand why one might want to pretend, but do not excuse. Now it has come to the point that cognitive dissonance will no longer serve them.

Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance. In the age of information ignorance is a choice...

Watch the video carefully, reflect upon the implications. The rabbit hole goes much deeper for those with eyes to see.

Next stop, strong AI, geoengineering... central banking/fractional reserve lending, corporate person hood, the legal fiction and maritime law, truth in science and medicine... all is inverted and needs to be put upright, assuming we have not passed the point of no return environmentally.

It's time...
Relax, we're so much more than we beLIEve.

Reflect within, into the ever present mirror of linguistics and grow wise not old.

FINALLY!

After a long campaign we have reached an accommodation
with the Government in respect of the First Mothers campaign
for justice:

ImageFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

First Mothers Welcomes Zappone's Selection Panel

By Kathy McMahon, Founder Irish First Mothers

Kathy McMahon, Founder of Irish First Mothers responds:

"We have welcomed Minister Zappone's previous related announcements and we support the formation of this distinguished Selection Panel to oversee appointments to the Collaborative Forum."

"The inclusion of our campaign's Media Liaison, Fintan Dunne on the panel will send a message to mothers who were incarcerated in these institutions, that their voices and concerns are informing the Government's responses."

"There has been considerable delay in this process, so we are preparing for the work of the Collaborative Forum ahead, with a focus on speedily addressing the mother's medical, psychological and restorative justice needs."

See Minister's announcement >
The 6 members appointed to the panel are:

Ms Teresa Blake SC Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission

Fintan, the work that Kathy and you have put into this investigation and campaign is truly stupendous and it deserves the highest praise. I know that neither of you do it for the accolades but that's no reason for folk like me not to recognise and appreciate your great work. It's uplifting to see folks who have got the chops to get things done actually use that ability on behalf of the voiceless, the defenceless and the powerless. I thank you both.
My real name is Gerry.

Sorry for my absence here
over the last few weeks...

On 13th February, 2018 Fintan Dunne was appointed by the Irish Government to a Selection Panel which will help shape official responses to Ireland's historic treatment of unwed mothers in state-sanctioned religious institutions. Those issues are separately the subject of an official Government judicial investigation due to report by February 2019.
See: https://www.dcya.gov.ie/viewdoc.asp?Docid=4616
The above from Mid-February looks promising, doesn't it?

It did right up until the meetings began a few weeks back.

I lasted 1.05 Meetings of the Selection Panel.
I resigned in the last few days. It was a trap.

Below is a radio interview of Kathy and I about what happened.
Below that is our interview in the mass-circulation Sunday Times.

Our bid to make peace with the Government is over.
We are at war, as I told them when exiting.

Social justice war is costly, and we've been running on empty for XX years.

Thanks.

"There was a determination to shoehorn the panel into the epartment's agenda and to sign off forthwith on a planned government publicity campaign inviting public participation in the collaborative forum. This was an ill-advised move given the seriousness of our work," Dunne said.

"The combination of falsely constructed minutes and a hollow sham consensus rendered my further participation impossible and I resigned at the minutes stage of the meeting."

Dunne said he has written to the remaining five members of the selection panel asking them to consider their positions. They are Patricia Lundy, an Ulster University sociology professor; James Gallen, a law and government lecturer at Dublin City University; Mari Steed of Adoption Rights Alliance; Clodagh Malone of the Coalition of Mother and Baby Homes Survivors; and Teresa Blake of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.

"I'd be advising mothers to stay away from the collaborative forum based on what Fintan has told me, and on feedback I have got from the department," said Kathy McMahon, the founder of IFM, an online organisation with more than 70 members.

"It is happening too quickly and feels like we're being railroaded into something. I don't think we should be so eager to have our voices heard that we are prepared to take part in a sham process."

McMahon said her organisation will not nominate anyone else to take Dunne's place on the panel.

A spokeswoman for Zappone's department said: "While this is a disappointing development, the minister respects and accepts Mr Dunne's decision. The independent selection panel remains committed to this important work and will shortly confirm details of how interested parties can register their expression of interest in participating in this new forum."

The deadline for applications from the public for membership of the collaborative forum is April 26. Zappone is expected to get cabinet approval for the body in early May.

The forum's establishment was announced following publication in December of the third report by the commission of investigation into 14 mother-and-baby homes and four county homes.

ImageFULL TEXT OF FINTAN DUNNE'S RESIGNATION

I have this afternoon, 4th April, 2018 resigned from Minister Zappone's Selection Panel for Mother and Baby Home issues, due to the suppression by her Department of the views of Professor Patricia Lundy, who is also a member of the panel.

Professor Lundy was -as expected- absent from the panel meeting today due to other commitments, and I had assured her that I would present and reaffirm her perspectives on proceedings in her absence.

To my shock I found today at our second meeting that those views, which she articulated at the first meeting of the panel had been excised from the official minutes of proceedings.

She had expressed a firm view that the Department was being overly prescriptive in setting the agenda and schedule of the panel and thus restricting the members ability to guide the process. I had been in strong agreement.

I challenged the Chair, Mr. James Halley over what seemed a deliberate omission, calling it a serious breach of trust. He offered neither explanation, apology or remedy.

To compound the problems, I also challenged the Chair's refusal to permit discussion of related problems about the manner in which the work of the panel was being steered into trivialities and away from uncomfortable perspectives.

The panel had purported itself to be a consensual structure where members would have the right to their perspectives and Mr. Halley would resolve differences to achieve a consensus. But my views and my reaffirmation of Professor Lundy's views in absentia were denied any hearing. Again, I was offered neither explanation, apology or remedy.

Instead there was a determination to shoehorn the panel into the Department's agenda and to sign off forthwith on a planned Government publicity campaign inviting public participation in the forthcoming Collaborative Forum. An ill-advised move given the seriousness of our work.

The combination of falsely constructed minutes and a hollow sham consensus rendered my further participation impossible and I resigned at the minutes stage of the meeting.

The 6 members appointed to the panel were:

Ms Teresa Blake SC Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission
Dr James Gallen Dublin City University
Prof Patricia Lundy Ulster University
Ms Clodagh Malone Coalition of Mother and Baby Homes Survivors
Ms Mari Steed Adoption Rights Alliance (based in USA)
Mr Fintan Dunne Irish First Mothers

It was the presence of respected legal and academic figures listed above, and the promise of a consensual process which gave me confidence to enter in good faith into the work of the panel.

I also stepped down from operational aspects of Irish First Mothers as a signal to potential applicants to the Collaborative Forum that I would act in a non-partisan fashion.

But there is little point in the Department inviting respected figures to participate and proffering to be consensual, if there is no such intent.

I have written to the remaining members of the panel asking them to consider if by their continuing presence on the panel they would be misleading the public and sanctioning acts and would betray the interests of the mothers who were abusively sequestered in these State-sanctioned institutions.

This is not the first instance of government suppression of views. Mr. Jerry Buttimer as Chair omitted evidence by First Mothers to the Health Committee when reporting to the Seanad on Dail scrutiny of the Adoption Information Tracing Bill.

I will again take up a full role in Irish First Mothers and the group will recommence taking evidence from mothers in pursuit of our Genocide Claim served on the Attorney General in respect of their treatment at the hands of Church and State. That work of taking testimonies had been suspended in the interests of giving an opportunity to the Minister's initiative.

Just made an update to the mothers
on activity re their cause for justice.

Gott'em on the run!

MOTHER & BABY CAMPAIGN REPORT UPDATE

1) - Pat Kenny on TV3 - Today I got confirmation that Minister Zappone has run away from a showdown with Kathy and I on this Wednesday's Pat Kenny TV show on TV3. We were scheduled to go on, but Zappone was afraid.

The PK Show chased her for three days - but she was "unavailable". I think it says it all that we have her on the run, so we will keep up the pressure!

Image2) - Kathy lobbied Senator Marie Louise O'Donnell, FG last week outside the Dail, and we flashed our protest signs at her. The look of shock on her face said it all.

She inquired about my stepping down from the Selection Panel and we told her that process was now doomed.

Of course being a government senator, she can say very little, but her sighs made it clear that Zappone has made a right mess of it.

3) - Kathy and I are now working on other routes to expose the charade of the Commission and the fake so-called "Collaborative Forum," but best to keep quiet until plans are fully in place.

Speaking of "collaborators" -that's the right word for those who remain on the panel after my principled exit. They are harming the cause of justice for First Mothers.

I would appreciate it if you would ask them to resign by emailing about the harm they are doing in your own words to Prof. Patricia Lundy and Dr. James Gallen at these email addresses:

p.lundy@ulster.ac.uk
james.gallen@dcu.ie

4) - I will be up with Kathy to Dublin this week to press our case with Dail & Seanad politicians -inside and outside the gates!

If you can afford to assist with travel costs please do, as this week I had to buy a third old banger in last 18 months. If you kindly donate at https://www.paypal.me/BeTheTeam

Irish Elites Deploy Adoptees, Academics
As Shield Against Unwed Mothers

FULL STORY: http://fintandunne.blogspot.ie/2018/04/ ... hield.html

Ireland's political, bureaucratic and media elites are using adopted persons and academics to substitute for the mothers who witnessed state-sanctioned genocidal practices in Mother and Baby Homes. Which suits these elites just fine. They prefer to perpetuate the aged stereotype and use second hand accounts to shield them from the raw truth of these women's first hand experience.

First Mothers group has filed a complaint against RTE with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Here's why.

  • Philomena Lee - Does She Take Sugar?
RTE's Claire Byrne Buries the Genocide
RTE's Sean O'Rourke Keeps it in The Family
Six One News with Joe Little At Large
Examiner's Conall Ó Fátharta Buries the Lead
Katherine Zappone Stacks the Political Deck
