HOW NINE WOMEN
CONSPIRED TO DESTROY
ALEX SALMOND
https://bit.ly/2xTHVys

Great story above about Alex Salmond by Craig Murray.
Indeed it is an incredible account of the corruption by MSM of the Alex Salmond trial and the "acquittal" that they are now trying to deny him.

More here -

https://sputniknews.com/columnists/2020 ... d-welcome/

http://archive.fo/aDdVn

Although it's perhaps more accurate to say how "EIGHT WOMEN" conspired to destroy him -
https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives ... um-effect/
,,,

As Garavelli says, Not Proven is also an acquittal. But I do believe there is something very specific in the jury finding all of the other verdicts Not Guilty but the Miss F case Not Proven. I have said above, and I was convinced during the trial, Ms F is in a different category. I do not believe she was knowingly lying. All the others I believe to be brazen, barefaced and conspiring liars who tried to orchestrate a terrible miscarriage of justice. I believe that is why their cases resulted in Not Guilty, but Miss F in Not Proven.

However one thing I think is for sure is that Nicola Sturgeon is finished. She will not survive the investigation as she is just too near the epicentre of all this shite, perhaps unwillingly or unwittingly, perhaps due to the influence of her husband, Peter Murrell and his suspected dark MI5-stinking unseen grubby hand moving in the shadows (... she might if she divorces him, although there are no signs they are anything but perfectly happy together) - but she, him and several other senior SNP figures are finished! They will not survive another conference vote (whenever they finally have one - they've already cancelled one and not due to COVID19!)

It's a shame because she is a very capable politician, one of the best - as can clearly be seen by anyone watching her reaction to the present crisis in comparison to the likes of Boris Johnston or anyone else in the UK Government.

And some serious cleaning out is required if the main goal of Scottish Independence is ever to be achieved -

https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-fateful-day/

Which makes me wonder about the effectiveness of the MI5/MSM psyop on Scotland. Their blanket scatter-gun multi-op approach to anything Scottish and SNP-Bad has taken out several of their own sleeping plants and it's disasterous and amateurish execution has left one of their biggest beastiest enemies not only alive and kicking but even more strengthened just when he was probably about to fade happily into the distant scotch mist.

I really think we should be getting our MI5 money back anyway!
I mean what fool is running that show!

Anyway ...

Today is the 700th Anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath!

There would have been a massive rally in Arbroath on Saturday to commemorate it and the subsequent push for Independence but with the lockdown that will have to be postponed til next year, but it didn't stop the digital celebrations taking place -

It is not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom — for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Yes James,
Craig Murray has truly been outstanding, to the point where they ended up excluding him from court with no explanation, but we all know it was because he was they only one reporting the truth.

In the fallout from the Alex Salmond trial, Craig Murray has been indited for 'Contempt of Court' - He was the only one reporting honestly from the trial and the only one who reported the defence's side of the case at all.
Craig Murray Defence Fund Launched
https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives ... -launched/

My Defence Fund now stands at £46,002, well on the way towards its target of £60,000. ...
...

I know of four pro-Independence folk who were last week phoned or visited by Police Scotland and threatened with contempt of court proceedings over social media postings they had made weeks back on the Alex Salmond case.
...

On Thursday two plain clothes police arrived and handed me the indictment. Shortly thereafter, an email arrived from The Times newspaper, saying that the Crown Office had “confirmed” that I had been charged with contempt of court. In the case of my friend whose house was raided, he was contacted by the Daily Record just before the raid even happened!

I am charged with contempt of court and the hearing is on 7 July at the High Court in Edinburgh. The contempt charge falls in two categories:

i) Material published before the trial liable to prejudice a jury
ii) Material published which could assist “jigsaw identification” of the failed accusers.

Plainly neither of these is the true motive of the Crown Office. If they believed that material I published was likely to have prejudiced the jury, then they had an obvious public duty to take action BEFORE the trial – and the indictment shows conclusively they were monitoring my material long before the trial. To leave this action until after the trial which they claim the material was prejudicing, would be a serious act of negligence on their part. It is quite extraordinary to prosecute for it now and not before the trial.

As for identifying the failed conspirators, I have done less than the mainstream media. But plainly the Crown Office, or whoever is pushing them to this persecution, had no genuine interest in protecting the identities, otherwise why did they tip off the media that I was being charged, and thus guarantee further publicity? If protecting the identities was their motive, to tip off the media would obviously be counterproductive.

But what proves that the Crown Office is acting from base motives and not those stated is the one-sided nature of this. Only supporters of Alex Salmond – the Alex Salmond found innocent by the jury – are being pursued by this continuing Police Scotland operation.
...

The state believes it has finally discovered a way to put me in prison without the inconvenient hurdle of a jury of my peers. Contempt of Court is just decided by a judge. It is extraordinary that you can go to jail for a substantial two years with no jury protection and no test of “beyond reasonable doubt”; and on the whim of a judge defending what he may view as the dignity of his own office. This really is the epitome of bad law. To use it against freedom of speech is disgusting.
...

The Alex Salmond case was a fit-up and a conspiracy in which the Crown Office was implicated, foiled by the jury. If Scotland is the kind of country where you go to jail for saying that, let me get my toothbrush.
...
Image

It looks like Julian Assage and Craig Murray, both champions in the search for the truth, will be dealt with by the State in a Star-Chambered-style kangaroo-court without the need for a pesky jury to avoid any further embarrassment.

With all this Covid-19 malarky Independence has taken a bit of a back seat and some are very happy with that (Unionists and cosy careerist SNP devolutionists) and others (the greater YES movement and serious SNP independentists) want Independence put front and foremost (after this pandemical distraction is under control, of course  ).

But many more are speaking out about the comfort and lack of interest or committment from the Scottish Government leadership ...
Robin McAlpine: The virus put unionism in crisis – their best hope is a compliant SNP
https://sourcenews.scot/robin-mcalpine- ... liant-snp/

UNIONIST commentators seem to have written about virtually nothing other than independence since the virus broke – column after column after column about how we should move beyond division by totally giving up and entirely conceding the constitutional argument to them.

This doesn’t reflect reality. Unionism is in crisis and has no obvious way out of it.

Anger is never at the crisis – it’s about the aftermath
...

I’ve been surprised by how slowly people are realising how bad this is going to be. It should have been clear from the beginning – we’re going into a kind of ‘strangulation economy’ for the foreseeable future and entire industry sectors (tourism, hospitality, events) won’t reopen.

This is economic devastation of a type for which we have no experiential background. We’re going to suffer, and suffering is not an abstract concept. At the moment there’s some kind of equity – we all suffer a bit, some more than others.
...

... All the visual indicators of Britishness (Westminster, London, Union Jacks, city traders and all) will adorn a response that makes us angry. Even if Johnson does a level-decent job, the chances are that Scotland will be looking for an Atlee moment pretty soon.

And the Tories will screw it up anyway
...

This means they don’t have a means of operating which does not begin with securing the City of London and its banking institutions. In turn, that means they need to prop up the machinery of a financialised economy, like property prices and corporate shares and debt and borrowing.

That has an immediate knock-on effect – once again everything else will need to be twisted round banks. The shape of the response (unless they do something genuinely surprising) will be an iron spine of bank-and-corporation protection with a load of optional add-ons for everyone else. Unlike the spine, none of the add-ons will be fundamental. They will be disposable.
...

So unless the Tories can find another receptacle for public anger, they have a problem. And I think they’ll find it harder to get our anger directed towards the ‘undeserving poor’ because of the sheer number of new entrants into that category.

Any government is going to get a kicking over what comes next. Tory governments create uneven outcomes (it’s kind of their philosophy). And I’d put money on Scotland and its economy getting the uneven treatment.
...

And perhaps above all, the unionists (and indeed the advocates of globalisation) are going to find it hard-going-on-impossible to argue that giant lumbering countries are best at dealing with crises of this sort because the absolutely overwhelming evidence is they are not. ...

Frankly, by far the best bet for Scotland would have been for Nicola Sturgeon not to fall into lockstep. It is smaller, more nimble nations who have handled things best (or in the case of Germany, much more decentralised ones).

Unionists believe that buffing up at the gym until you’re pure bulging with muscles is the way to defeat any foe – then on the way home they get attacked by a swarm of wasps. Bet they wish they’d put some time into speed training and had worked on their balance and dexterity.
...

Finally, they really, really need their newspapers to get bailed out and they need that to happen with no strings attached. Their biggest fear would be a left-of-centre, reform-minded independence supporter who wanted to see a more balanced media as an outcome from throwing public money at them.

If they can’t come up with a leader, they need to adopt one, to co-opt one. So they need someone who, when setting up a committee to rebuild after the virus stacks it with right-wing unionists. They need someone who absolutely does not prepare a better crisis plan for Scotland than the cack-handed mess of the UK.

They need someone with an absolutely solid track record of finding reasons not to campaign for independence and who never supports others who do. They need someone who will never use a crisis to achieve change. They need someone who is very deeply interested in their own self-image. They need to find that person and protect them with their lives.

They really, really need Nicola Sturgeon.

So why do we behave like we need them?
...

Likewise, far from being over her dual with Alex Salmond is still to reach its terrible crescendo. One side has fired everything they have; the other is having a cup of tea and polishing his Exocet missiles. With that and parliamentary inquiries to come, describing her position as vulnerable would be an understatement.
...

The unionists need their First Minister and their First Minister needs them. The SNP needs to stop self-sacrificing the cause of independence in the pursuit of a kind of ‘respectability’ it does not need and should not want

The trick of a real leader is to find a way to deliver just outcomes for everyone now which also help move history in the direction of that leader’s true mission. At the same time.

The trick of a political party is to make sure they have such a leader. Winners don’t comply.

The Stockholm Troopers
https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-stockholm-troopers/

Anyone up for their taxes being used to bail out Scottish newspapers?

No, we didn’t think so.
...

... but more pertinently we see no realistic possibility of independence on the horizon under the current SNP leadership, and therefore no point in exhausting ourselves for nothing. We’d rather recharge our batteries and be refreshed and ready for the fight should one unexpectedly arise.
...
SNP need a nasty operator to put independence back on the table
https://www.thenational.scot/news/18411 ... ack-table/
...

THE SNP has itself been colonised by a cult-like group who have successfully decoupled the party from reality. Independence for them comes a distant second to their mission of creating a new order rooted in scientific and medical fantasy. A proper nasty bastard sitting at the heart of government, in touch with the mood of the wider movement and not afraid to make enemies might have seen off the gender cult which is choking the SNP and independence; not pander to them. This sect seeks the hyper-normalisation of Scottish culture; something that isn’t real. It’s policed by a secret vigilante force whose word alone can destroy political careers. It needs to be dealt with before it destroys the dream of independence.

Our First Minister is surrounded by flatterers and careerists for whom the constitutional status quo has been very advantageous. It has preserved their power and fattened their pension pots.

They fear that conflict and passion will upset the comfortable, super-annuated rhythm of their lives. They’ve allowed the cause that has given them the good life to be hijacked.

...

James, I can say with pretty close to absolute certainty that the SNP will not be getting my vote next time around and I know numerous people who feel exactly the same way.
A few days ago, I received an email from the Party to remind me that it was time to renew my membership.
I quote, in full, my entire reply; "You must be fucking joking. "
And that was me holding back.

No leader has worked harder to advance the Bill Gates agenda than Nicola Sturgeon and as soon as this is over, according to several party sources that I've heard from, she'll take up a plum U.N. post and scarper off to her luxury but'n'ben in the south of Spain with her secret girlfriend. The Health Minister has apparently got a similarly plush easy number with the WHO all lined up.

They're a shower of fakes, traitors and sellouts. Self-determination is dead in this country.

I hear you Man and sympathise - the SNP hierarchy seems too comfortable with "devolved" (and thus retained) power and appear to have NO urgency to change that situation. It looks like they may go the way of "Scottish" Labour before them, who used to "weigh their votes instead of counting them" and they might be in for a nasty shock!

There has been much talk of setting up a new 'Pro-Indy' party by WingsOverScotland among others and indeed one has made a committment to launching in the near future this week -

https://indylive.radio/blog/colette-wal ... and-party/

https://www.barrheadboy.com/scottish-pr ... te-walker/

The d’Hondt method for the Additional Member System of 73 constituencies (FPTP) and 56 ‘list’ or ‘regional’ make it difficult to near impossible to reach the magic number of 65 seats for an overall majority - by "Unionist" design, of course, to specifically STOP the SNP and Scottish Independence.

Many talk of trying to "game" the system but the representatives of the new "Independence for Scotland Party" are correct to claim they have a democratic right to stand on the "List Vote" only, in the hope of gaining seats lost to the million+ votes that go to the SNP which only result in 3 or 4 seats at most and are instead undeservingly "won" by troughing, useless Unionists who have no interest in Scotland whatsoever.

There's an on-going debate as to whether splitting the "indy-vote" would be effective for gaining the "indy-majority" or whether it would in fact endanger it - some for/some against ...

Most notably - scotgoespop.blogspot.com and the careerist SNP hierarchy & MPs AGAINST and ....

Equally notably - wingsoverscotland.com and many, many YES Movement supporters who are sick and tired of waiting for the SNP led Scottish Government to finally DO SOMETHING about getting Independence FOR

James Kelly of "Scotgoespop" is very good at polling etc. but ...... I just don't trust him. I suspect him of being a deep cover plant. He's much more subtle than others ...

[Another of the supposed "Pro-Indy" alt media that suspect (in fact I'm almost certain) is Mike Small of bellacaledonia.org.uk although they both post good articles now and again (like the MSM  )]

James Kelly takes great pleasure now that Rev Stuart of WINGS has been banned from Twitter to spout his bile without recrimination as his latest article demonstrates ... although not without momentary comments to the contrario -
Landmark Wings poll finds that the SNP's popularity is crucial to preserving the coalition of support for independence

One of the reasons I knew in advance there was a Wings poll on its way was that people who had been interviewed by Panelbase mentioned there were "a lot of oddly-worded questions about the trans issue". It's not 2011 any more, voting patterns have changed, Labour have lost the central belt to the SNP and the Lib Dems have collapsed. You need to stick to either the condition of likely, i.e. the SNP won't win list seats in all but two or three of the regions and a pro indy fringe party won't win 5% of the vote on the list. Or alternatively possible, the SNP will repeat the 2011 result (all but impossible without a sea change in voting based on current polling) and the pro indy fringe party will win 5% of the vote.
You can't have it both ways.

To gain list seats, based on current polling, The SNP either have to win over 10-15% of the unionist vote or a new pro indy party has to gain 5% of the yes vote. Out of the two options I think I know which one is more likely.

Now lets play you delete (as always) and I repost (for the first time) have fun now!

The idea of a "List Vote" ONLY party is discussed in detail by WingsOverScotland here -

But back to Holyrood Elections 2021 and whether to vote SNP 1-2 or vote SNP 1 and "Pro-Indy" Party 2 (eg IPS) or indeed whether to vote SNP at all?!

Where did it all start and what happened? ...
The Rise of the SNP
https://grousebeater.wordpress.com/2020 ... f-the-snp/

I was certain we would lose the first independence referendum, so certain that I placed a £100 bet in William Hill at 7 to 1, to win the vote. I did the patriotic thing, the futile sacrifice. And why not, as Arnold Brown is want to say. Colonised over 300 years, the chances of the ill and the sick getting up off their mattresses to vote the invaders home was no more than fantasy. After all, we hardly had more than a year of a national debate to turn Britishness into nationness. No amount of frantic idealism was going to reverse 300 years of imposed English values overnight.

Be prepared – next year, maybe
...

Is that the time already?

Now, in 2020, the SNP has reached a crossroads. Having ignored three mandates and as many opportunities to use them, given to them by the electorate to process a second referendum on autonomy, discontent has created a clamour for the constitutional change the SNP so often promised.

The SNP is once again faced by the old enemy, an implacable, far-right Tory Party in power at Westminster determined to treat Scotland as a province, but give it less respect than Northern Ireland, indeed, less respect than Gibraltar.

England’s nationalist upsurge has its goal to regain its own parliament and embrace delusions of empire with inflated occasions of pomp and circumstance. Simultaneously, when it ought to have been at its most politically vigorous, the SNP is mired in badly thought through policies, cases of sleaze and conspiracy it could have avoided, and dragged out of the European Union against its will by the British state.

The SNP sees itself out of step with the concerns and anxieties of the people who put it in power. Dissent mounts. Formerly avid supporters bleed away who see the SNP as risk averse, clumsy and unreliable. Self-determination is superseded by self-flagellation.

Historians studying Scotland state the Union is dead. Scots acknowledge the Union is wholly unfit for the 21st century, but the SNP, hell-bent on chasing more mundane political matters, appears unable or unwilling to do what it was elected to do, give Scotland back to its people.

NOTE: This is a work in progress.
Others tire of playing parliament poker and opt for another way and to declare a #ScottishUDI and #DissolveTheUnion ... but it won't be the SNP doing that! -

Opinion: Kevin McKenna: Has push for independence been sidelined by Hate Crime and Gender Recognition fanatics?
http://archive.is/BqO1c
...

Joanna Cherry is one who has been vociferous in recent weeks for the independence case to be pressed home. Yet, such sentiments seem to be considered dangerous by the SNP’s presidium and so the ubiquitous anonymous ‘party source’ was duly despatched not merely to contradict her but to ridicule her too. Such is the way with the party that preaches respect for women. Is it these views that have so upset the party hierarchy – they’re not exactly surprising – or is it her support for Mr Salmond and her perceived unease about the proposed Hate Crime Bill and the Government’s equally obnoxious proposed Gender Recognition reforms?

A more immediate concern now arises about what sort of country the Scottish Government wants to shape before and after independence. This is when the picture begins to darken considerably. There is something sinister being hatched here underneath our noses.
...

It’s becoming apparent to many in the wider Yes movement that the Scottish Government has been hollowed out by a group of fanatics who are influencing and making policies by stealth and subterfuge to suit their narrow agenda.

A wide-ranging poll conducted this week for Wings Over Scotland by Panelbase has already produced one astounding conclusion: that the number of SNP voters who’d be willing to sacrifice power for the sacred goal of independence has dropped from 82% to 59%. It bears out my worst fears for the future of the independence movement: that the party which alone is defined by this has now become so dazzled by the trinkets of high office that it’s fast losing the stomach for the fight.

Instead, it seems, party managers would rather Scotland be used as a pilot for an experiment in gender tyranny reinforced by an Orwellian surveillance programme. They have made independence subservient to a different agenda.

https://weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2020 ... na-cherry/

And finally just to add injury to insult the Scottish Government are now bailing out the "Scottish" mainstream Newspapers - the very ones who attack them constantly, their literal, literary enemy!

Brutal video! ... and he hits so many nails on the head with an atomic hammer! ... but ...

- He demonstrates the very "cringe" that this "cultural lobotomy" has produced. You would never hear an Irishman, for instance, slagging Guinness and Irish Stew with such venom.

- The Scottish Government may have "splaffed" 80M Pounds on the Dundee V & A, but it brought a lot of work and business to a deprived area whether you like what's on show or not. Curiously he doesn't complain about the ??M?B? Pounds "splaffed" on the Queensferry Bridge.

- The SNP might like to/love to (in their wildest dreams) "manage" the "cultural expression" of the YES Movement, but THEY DON'T! ... and as such we now have it seriously proposing alternative List Seat Parties to force the SNP's hand on Independence (as he earlier noticed).

... but I like his angry energy! :D

It might be necessary to "break" the SNP before the Holyrood Scottish Elections next May2021 or at least wressle back from the dark control of the State. It's quite telling that with all the internal divsions of the party and conspirital problems facing Nicola Sturgeon - they barely merit a mention in the MSM - Funny that!

It seems all will eventually be decided in court -
The legal case for indyref2 is strong – we must prepare for a court battle
http://archive.is/5gAJ4
...

It will end up in the Supreme Court and with all respect I would ask the justices to consider this one binding agreement between the UK and Scottish Governments.

“The United Kingdom and Scottish Governments are committed, through the Memorandum of Understanding between them and others, to working together on matters of mutual interest and to the principles of good communication and mutual respect. The two governments have reached this agreement in that spirit. They look forward to a referendum that is legal and fair producing a decisive and respected outcome. The two governments are committed to continue to work together constructively in the light of the outcome, whatever it is, in the best interests of the people of Scotland and of the rest of the United Kingdom.”

Note the phrases “in the best interests” and “working together on matters of mutual interest and to the principles of good communication and mutual respect”. And that whole paragraph is the final one of the Edinburgh Agreement…

Judges don’t decide matters on what politicians say, thankfully, but what laws and agreements state. Keatings may win his case and we’ll all know where we stand, but I think it will be the UKSC that will eventually decide on the legitimacy of a second referendum. The legal case for indyref2 is strong and we should start preparing for it now.
Not that we have much faith in the Law and/or Court after the stitch ups of Alex Salmond, Craig Murray and Wings' Rev. Stu Cambell!

It wouldn’t be human not to take a brief pause to enjoy a victory.
...

But this is only one battle.

Because all last night achieved was to give the independence movement a fighting chance of achieving its goals again, by taking back a measure of control of its main political arm from an intolerant, extremist, entryist group pursuing other agendas with no real interest in independence as a principle.
...

... Last night’s victory for sanity and decency and women and gay people achieves nothing in itself, but it had to be won for there to be even a chance of saving the party and the campaign for independence.
...

But for the first time in a long time, the grassroots SNP and Yes movement are feeling some hope this morning. ...
...

Hope is a fragile thing, but it’s precious. Just for today, let’s enjoy it.
The grass-roots of the SNP took back control of the party and will make independence a priority and instead of the dawdling down the sidetrack devisive policies of Gender Reform and Hate crime.

It’s almost as if the First Minister wants to prevent the inquiry from being able to deliver a verdict before the election, in the hope she’ll win a majority that would enable her to survive a vote of no confidence and simply brazen out anything the inquiry found.

If you’d asked us at the start of the inquiry in mid-August whether it would have been possible to stall it all the way up to an election almost nine months later, we’d have snorted. The idea seemed totally ludicrous. But it seems the First Minister is absolutely determined to evade justice and accountability, and might even succeed.

And if she does, readers, you can kiss goodbye to independence.
All this with a YES majority increasing and consolidating in the polls (15 in a row now!) means the Federalism Fairy being dragged out again but there's a fundamental problem with that - it relies on a democratic transformation in England and that's NOT coming!

Anyway, after years of inertia things are coming to head and 2021 is going to be a defining year for Scottish Independence one way or the other.

You're back with a great
BLOCKBUSTER James D :-)

And it's very illuminating on the timeline to root out the Betrayers :-)

As someone who has been writing about the machinations of CIAFBIMI5
for two decades it sure does gladden my heart to see the public level of
awareness about the actions of the spooks.

There's good Scot blood in Donald Trump - from his mother Mary Anne
MacLeod, from "the Hebrides, off the Scottish Highlands coast, where
Gaelic was spoken by both of her parents, who passed it on to her."
"It is thus likely that Mary Anne herself would have spoken it and the young Donald may well have been soothed by Gaelic lullabies as a child."

Charming notion that the man who is be best known for saying 'you're fired' might also be capable of remembering Gaelic words taught to him as a child.

[Like] 'Pog mo Thoin' which means of course 'kiss my a..'

https://www.irishcentral.com/opinion/pa ... -238081191
And sure didn't my own mother also pass the Gaelic to me as a child.
She spent a lot of time in the "Rinn" in Wexford - where Gaelic was the
common tongue.

Tha cànan na saorsa a ’tighinn bho ar sinnsearan.

Looks like you Scots are on a Roll - and we owe you one:-)

BRITISH SPIES IN THE SNP

Recently, there have been a number of pro-independence people speculating on social media about SNP members they claim are agents of the British State.

I have absolutely no doubt there are some within the ranks of the Scottish National Party who pass information to British agencies, such as MI5 and Special Branch. This has always been the case, but the feeling amongst some independence supporters is that the party's British spies are no longer merely conduits for passing information to UK security services: it is now argued that some British agents within the SNP have reached such elevated positions that they are able to impact party policy, such as adopting a less-than-urgent position on actually delivering independence.

I was a member of the SNP for 27-years – 1977-2004 – I held office-bearer positions at branch, Constituency Association and Regional Association level. I was also a delegate to National Council and National Conference. In 1992 I was elected as an SNP councillor in North Ayrshire. From the first days of the Scottish Parliament in 1999 I worked for an SNP MSP and the SNP Scottish Parliamentary Group, holding the positions of Whips Administrator and Secretary to the Shadow Cabinet. In 2003, I was elected as an SNP Member of the Scottish Parliament.

For those 27-years, at various levels within the SNP, I saw how the party operated and how individual members behaved. There are some SNP members I would, metaphorically, be happy to have beside me in the trenches, even today – 16-years after the party expelled me for calling on John Swinney to resign and for Alex Salmond to return as leader. However, there were others who, even when I was working and serving alongside them, I would not have trusted as far as I could throw them.

There were different reasons why I did not trust some of my colleagues: those who were not interested in independence, only in promoting themselves and advancing their own careers; others who 'couldnae haud their watter', and who would pass party information to journalists on British nationalist newspapers, in return for future favourable coverage for themselves; then there were those I suspected could actually be working for the British State.

After the first Scottish Parliament Election, in May 1999, and before the new parliament building was constructed at Holyrood, the debating chamber used by MSPs was the Church of Scotland Assembly Hall at the top of the Royal Mile. MSP and staff offices were located across the road – on the corner of the Lawnmarket and George IV Bridge – in offices formerly used by Lothian Regional Council. With 35 MSPs, the SNP was allocated the full second-floor of the offices.

In those very early days of the parliament, I had a conversation with a handful of MSPs – all on the left of the SNP and avowed 'fundamentalists' - during which I advanced the argument that there must be at least two people - probably more - working on the second-floor who were actually passing information to Special Branch or MI5. During this conversation, names were suggested – both MSPs and staff-members – who could be working for the other side. Some of those whose names were suggested have since gone on to hold very senior positions within the SNP.

Whatever your own beliefs about the speed of the SNP's movement towards independence, the core principle of the party has always been to deliver an independent Scotland by breaking-up the British State. Therefore, the secret services of that British State would not have been doing their job if they had not infiltrated the SNP, from grass-roots to senior level.

We only need to look at documentary evidence, now in the public domain, that shows how effectively the British State infiltrated the Irish Republican Army (IRA) during 'the troubles' in the north of Ireland, or Britain's biggest trade union, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), during the 1970s and 1980s, when the NUM led strikes against UK government policies.

The infiltration of those organisations was not just at a low-level. One of the British spies in the IRA, known as 'Stakeknife', has been identified in secret service documents as Freddie Scappaticci, who was head of the republican movement's Internal Security Unit.

In the National Union of Mineworkers, during the 1970s, British State infiltration reached as high as it could go. A BBC documentary, True Spies, revealed that the top man in the NUM, National President Joe Gormley, was a Special Branch informant. In the 1980s, in the lead-up to the Miners' Strike and all through the dispute, papers prepared for then Tory Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher identified the NUM's Chief Executive, Roger Windsor, as an MI5 agent. Windsor denied this after the papers were leaked.

Given the extent to which so-called 'enemies of the state' have been infiltrated by Britain's secret services, it would, clearly, be ridiculous to think that agents of the British State would not also have been active in the Scottish National Party for many years.

I don't intend to name names of possible British spies within the SNP, mainly because it has been 16-years since I was a member of the party. However, looking in from the outside, I am concerned that many young, and relatively new party members, seem to be driving the SNP down policy-avenues that have little or nothing to do with securing an independent Scotland, and which are a turn-off for more mature members and, indeed, the general public.

Clearly, these young SNP members – many of whom are now seeking to stand as party candidates at next year's Scottish Parliament Election – were not around back when I and others speculated about British spies on the SNP floor in the parliament's temporary offices in 1999. If some young members are now involved in the devious work of MI5 or Special Branch, then they have been recruited relatively recently. It is more likely that participating in actions that distract from the SNP's core policy is being co-ordinated by older, more experienced party members; those who have now assumed relatively senior positions and who are followed by younger members.

Back when the SNP occupied the second-floor of the Scottish Parliament's temporary offices, I remember two journalists working on Tory-supporting, British Establishment newspapers who would, every night, hang around the SNP corridor, waiting for two SNP MSPs: the four would then go off for drinks in Edinburgh's bars. The group were friends. Today, the MSPs remain close to the SNP leadership, including formulating policy, while the two journalists now hold senior editorial positions with right-wing media organisations. As far as I know, all four remain good friends.

The British State will do everything it can to prevent Scotland from re-taking its independence. This includes infiltrating the SNP and attempting to manipulate the actions of the party. As previously stated, MI5 and Special Branch have been doing this for years. What we are seeing today, though, appears to be senior people within the party who lead and coerce sections of the party's membership, and advocate a very slow progression towards independence. Those voices are loud within the party, but they don't represent the views of the majority.

Scotland will become a normal, independent nation because the people of the country are now embracing the vision. A slow-burn 'gradualist' SNP leadership and a rabid anti-independence media have not been able to deter growing public support for independence. Our time is coming.

Meanwhile, SNP members should be careful who they trust: not everyone who smiles at you is your friend.

That video is a bit surreal.

It's just him reading out Craig Murray's affidavit and inter mixing it with his Brit-Nat, anti-Scottish xenophobic opinions to the backdrop of British Army fallen, English country life and finally a swivel-eyed crazy Brexit Party irony-lacking intervention!

... But I suppose it saves you from actually reading the long Craig Murray affidavit text.

https://wingsoverscotland.com/ and https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/ are the best investigative and informative sites on Scottish Independence and I recommend them to all who are interested in the un-sugar-coated Truth!

Then there was this - https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-death-wish/

But today things have just got even worse ...

The SNP just committed harakiri!

The SNP have sacked Joanna Cherry QC! - their brightest star at Westminster, the one who took Boris Johnson to court over #Brexit Article 50 and won! ... oh, and who is the most obvious choice as a future leader!

from Twitter -

Mr Malky - @MrMalky
"The SNP replaces a QC with a Club 18-30 rep who sings the Sash"

... as well as Angus B MacNeil MP (Plan B for #Indy) and Kenny MacAskill MP (who writes for Wings) - both strong Independence supporters, are now left twiddling their thumbs on the back benches instead of holding the feet of unionists to the fire, while the rest of the cumfy careerist MPs pull up a chair and put their slippers on!
Cherry unpicking

As soon as this happened, this was only ever going to be a matter of days: (https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-great-grovelling/)
Joanna Cherry QC
@joannaccherry

Despite hard work, results & a strong reputation I’ve been sacked today from @theSNP front bench. My constituents & fellow party members who gave me a resounding mandate in recent NEC elections should rest assured that I will continue to work hard for them.
It is, of course, all the doing of the transcult. The SNP is a trainwreck, readers, and its leader is a weak-kneed failure (https://wingsoverscotland.com/weak-in-t ... of-beauty/). Nobody can claim that we haven’t been warning you.

In so far as this merits any analysis, btw, what it tells us is that Nicola Sturgeon knows her time as First Minister and SNP leader is nearly over, and now just wants to do everything possible to prevent Cherry being her successor, as we told you last week.
But when you hate Joanna Cherry as much as Nicola Sturgeon does, and you know that you’re on your way out anyway, then we suppose you’d probably be happy to burn everything to the ground to try to hurt her on your way down.
We hope that plan too meets with the failure that is Sturgeon’s trademark.

The Great Grovelling
https://wingsoverscotland.com/the-great-grovelling/
...

We’ve said for a long time that the SNP, with a 35-point cushion in the polls, would be very happy indeed to shed some voters and come back as a minority government again rather than getting a majority – giving them the perfect excuse for five more years of non-delivery on independence, but knowing that they can still pass all their toxic woke policies that the public hates but can do nothing about unless they’re willing to vote Tory, because the Greens, Lib Dems and Labour will all back the SNP on them.

But even we’re surprised that they’re now pursuing that goal so brazenly.
https://wingsoverscotland.com/weak-in-t ... of-beauty/
...

Everything Nicola Sturgeon does is governed (whether consciously or unconsciously) by obsession with her approval ratings, and those are ultimately worthless – Richard Nixon was massively popular before the Watergate scandal brought him down. The brutal truth is that she has impostor syndrome because she actually is an impostor.

The incredible resilience of the Yes movement since its defeat in 2014, with no support and often outright open hostility from the SNP, has been a glorious and beautiful sight. But Nicola Sturgeon has been a weak leader when that movement needed a strong one, because she’s a weak person. That weakness may yet prove her downfall, and if it does it won’t be a day too soon.
It's clear Nicola Sturgeon knows that the game is up and her time is done and so she is deploying a scorched earth policy to do as much damage to the Independence Movement and Cause as possible and to dent the SNP's chances at the #Holyrood2021 Scottish Elections (in less than 95 days) just enough to maintain a minority government (with all those salaries and expenses) and nothing, absolutely NOTHING towards freeing Scotland from trougher-filled shit-fest of Westminster rule!

I'm scunnered! [vomit-smiley-001.gif]

However this still has a long way to go ...

On Feb 9th Alex Salmond gives evidence to the Holyrood Enquiry over his stitch-up - get yer popcorn!
