So much fog of misreporting, including ID confusion and later reports
of a Hoboken death that wasn't and one or more second suspects being
detained by police.....

A gruesome, sickening affair.

The shooter was reportedly dressed for action - all in black....
The shooter came into the elementary school around 9:30 a.m. in
Newtown, Conn. with two 9-mm handguns and fired off "hundreds of
rounds," according to witnesses. He had two other firearms in his car,
NBC News reported.

He was reportedly dressed all in black. He reportedly first started shooting
at the principal's office and then proceeded to his mother's kindergarten
classroom -- focusing much of his attention there, NBC News reported.

Williams reported that every child in his mother's classroom was killed.
An official speaking on the condition of anonymity told the AP that the
shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Conn. State Police Lt. Paul Vance says a 9-1-1 call shortly after 9:30 a.m.
alerted police to the incident. Police say they entered the school and
secured the scene.
He was reportedly wearing dark clothing, a mask, a bulletproof vest...

He allegedly had enough firepower for a war and
the weapon choice brings in the DC shooters:
Two 9mm handguns were recovered at the scene. AP is reporting that a .223
caliber rifle was also used, the same semi-automatic weapon used by the
D.C. snipers
John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo.

According to an eyewitness speaking to ABC News, "hundreds of shots"
were fired.

"I was in the gym and I heard like seven loud booms, and the gym teachers
told us to go in the corner and we huddled. We all heard these booming
noises, and we started crying. So the gym teachers told us to go into the
office where no one could find us. Then a police officer told us to run
outside."

Nailing down some hard detail.....
According to the second official, the suspect drove to the scene of the
shootings in his mother's car. Three guns were found at the scene —
a Glock and a Sig Sauer, both pistols — and a .223-caliber rifle.

The rifle was recovered from the back of a car at the school.
The two pistols were recovered from inside the school.

The official also said Lanza's girlfriend and another friend are missing in New Jersey.

i wanna know how anyone with that much gear would not look suspicious upon entering the building, or did no one actually see him when he was let in? this is not rocket science for the authorities to answer without having to wait for the "official story" whenever the hell that is pieced together.

another thing they were saying on TV news is they are still (around 9pm) identifying the bodies... what? and that cops combing the hallways and rooms didn't know where the shooter was while kids and teachers were running around trying to escape. great. does that mean the cops may have accidentally shot some of the victims as well? if so, you know something like that would never go public.

as usual, more questions than answers. same with that shopping mall shooting the other day.

just tragic. well, at least they have a shit-load of authorities and news people on this, unlike Benghazi. not that i'm gonna hold my breath on getting clear facts from them, regardless.

a few thoughts
of course, a rush to gun control
especially assault weapons
even though one wasn't used

but what about violent computer games
http://www.callofduty.com/

according to reports
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wire ... r=homepage

"Connecticut school shooting suspect was honors student who lived in prosperous neighborhood"
"The 20-year-old may have suffered from a personality disorder, law enforcement officials said."
"Lanza shot his mother at their home before driving her car to Sandy Hook Elementary School and – armed with at least two handguns – carried out the massacre, officials said.

A third weapon, a .223-caliber rifle, was found in the car, and more guns were recovered during the investigation."

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... loner.html

"School gunman Adam Lanza ‘a loner’ and ‘one of the goths’"
"DISTURBED Adam Lanza has been described as a loner who played computer games."
"He just said he was very thin, very remote and was one of the goths,” she said.
Adam Lanza belonged to a technology club at Newtown High School that held computer gaming parties."

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2 ... -shooting/

9:37 p.m.: A Sig Sauer and a Glock semi automatic handgun were used in the slaying and that .223 shell casings – a round used in a semi automatic military style rifle – were also found."

6:25 p.m.: Nancy Lanza, mother of gunman Adam Lanza, was found dead in her Connecticut home. The 20-year-old man, shot her in the face, authorities told ABC News. Following the murder of his mother, Lanza, carrying at least two semi-automatic pistols and an automatic rifle, drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., where his mother worked. There he killed 20 children and six adults. Lanza was found dead in the school with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The rifle was found in his car, authorities said."

NBC: Weapons Used Were Legally Purchased And Registered To Gunman's Mother @ NBCNews : UPDATE: Weapons used in shooting were legally purchased and registered to gunman's mother, law enforcement officials tell NBC News

So, an intelligent but mentally disturbed youth, who plays video games where problem resolution is often violence, shoots his mother with her own legally purchased firearms and then goes on a rampage at a local school

so when a problem in real life is faced, make believe and reality is blurred

He uses two handguns in the shootings and a .223 rifle is found in the car
But .223 shell casings are found at the scene

1. he had another .223 rifle not yet found
2. he fired the rifle in the school and returned it to the car
3. he scattered empty casings around during the shooting to confuse us
4. the casings were from the swat team's .223 rifles
formerly known as duane in a previous registration

One advantage of all the "incorrect" details, is that any REAL details of significance that surfaced early can be thrown on that pile of "irrelevant garbage."

Not unlike the Dallas police finding a Mauser instead of a Carcano rifle. :|

I want to know one thing: what prescriptions was he on for his "condition"?

It is clear that the "right" to bear arms is not an obligation to own or use them.
State militias being the army of choice prior to the establishment of a federal armed force, armories could be stormed and weapons taken away before militia members could be armed and ready to defend the nation. Thus, ensuring that they could have weapons in their possession made that eventuality less likely. The US was very worried about foreign invasion (and still are, apparently...) and decidedly so what with the various skirmishes in the early 1800s.
Now, the mother in question was a gun "nut"? (The weapons were registered in her name...for now...) Perhaps a deranged "loner"? Maybe even a "handler" who MK-Ultra'd her own kid into a robotic killer. Sure, why not?
Bad things come to pass when good things are not there to take their place.
Good things are the result of acting intelligently first and selfishly second.
I guess that pretty well sums up this situation...

This is way too fucking close to home.
I live about an hour to the north, and I know someone that knows Ryan...
Just a crazy last couple of days. I thought I was too desensitized but I have shed many tears over these tragic events.

Facebook is littered with divides as expected, whether it be over gun control or conspiracy theories. One guy I know seems to be losing quite a few friends over his Mk-Ultra rants.

Therefore...I am sticking by "restrain of pen and tongue" at this juncture.
However, glad to see this event is getting attention on this forum.
(---as if it wouldn't...ha!---)
I know I can trust you folks here at BFN to clear a bit of the fog.

Hmmm...

Well one argument I have against that is that Ryan Lanza is still alive.
If this is a CIA family or what-not, I think it would be far too risky
to keep him alive, because it's possible that he would know something.
If it's a conspiracy and it involves his family, he's a very loose end.
Just doesn't make any sense to me.
Don't get me wrong, I have my suspicions.
The news reports had all the marks I was expecting,
and it freaked me out a bit.
Reports of 2nd shooter...guy questioned/found in woods with flak armor, etc. etc. etc.
Easy for "a guy in all black" to simply hide
until the "blacked-up" guys arrived, simply show the proper
credentials and "join the team".
That was discussed in the Columbine audio a while back.

Hard to believe that the NWO (yes EVEN them) would kill 5 year olds...
then I thought about OKC...

Ugh...I am just full of disgust right now, conspiracy or not.

That's all I have to say for now.

While my idea of sarcasm may not suit all tastes, the use of tragedy to further the ends of certain schools of thought or groups of individuals is likely and understandable. Why bother orchestrating disasters when they abound? Just be ready to spin whatever angle suits your purpose(s) and away you go.

Wars, policies, pogroms, witch hunts etc. they all lend themselves ideally to whatever distasteful events of the day are available for exploitation.

well, now they say the glass door was broken into as far as entry.

and the mis-identification of the suspect (brother's ID, kinda like finding terrorists' passports only reversed) might have been to make it obvious the authorities have no clue whom they're dealing with. (that is, if this was some Mk-Ultra thing).

yeah, i dunno about the gun-totin' school-marm angle.

PS - the black car that may have been the mothers' parked outside. what? that's easy to run a license plate check in a minute, ain't it?

sigh.

The official line is moving again:

Posted on December 15, 2012 at 3:05 PM
Updated today at 3:05 PM
NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) -- A medical examiner said all the victims of the Connecticut school shooting were killed up close by multiple rifle shots.
Dr. H. Wayne Carver said at a news conference Saturday the deaths are classified as homicides. He said he believes “everybody was hit more than once.”

Except here is video of a rifle being taken out of the trunk of the car the suspect drove to the scene:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... KssA#at=25

So now they have TWO rifles discoverd at the scene!!!

----------------

We've been told since it happened that the guns recovered belonged to the shooter's mother. Now even that is in doubt:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wire ... ting-guns/
posted 12-14, 9:30pm
--The official cautions that investigators haven't conclusively linked the guns used in the rampage to the ones the woman owned.

----------------

What right do they have to prevent people from occupying their own homes? Is the real reason for this to prevent witnesses from observing police carry 'evidence' INTO the residence?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/1 ... gananda-st
Hours earlier police evacuated several large, well-tended homes neighboring the house on Yogananda St.(mother's residence in Newtown, CT) connected to today's shooting.
Its unclear if the ban is lifted, allowing residents to return home.
