Minds are like parachutes.

So how's the election campaign going for
Ireland's current neo-liberal government?
A new poll to be published tomorrow (Wed 17) shows the main
government party - Fine Gael at 26pc, down two since the last
poll at the weekend. Low credibility and poor debate abilities have
seen the party's support collapse by five points from a poll by the
same organisation earlier this month.
That sag in government support has probably deepened further,
following outstanding performances by EVERYONE EXCEPT the
government parties! :-)
Here's the results of an online poll taken after seven parties
debated most of the issues on national TV last night.
I've added data to show the politics at play here: (continued below...)
to broad national political support.
But look at the dismal support for the Kenny / Burton duo who form
the current two-party government.
These polls are deeply ominous for the bankster-controlled goons. :-)
Martin's Fianna Fail party are kingmakers.
Playing a new reluctant bride for Kenny's Fine Gael.
Or..... ..Swallowing the pill, ditching the banksters
and forming a broad Center-Left-Socialist Lite party
with Gerry Adams and republican Sinn Fein.
Looks like Ireland is about to join the EU revolt countries (such as:
Portugal, Greece, Spain) where latest elections have stalemated
the worst excesses of the neoliberal agenda.

Some of the parties are small - so a high debate score does not translate
to broad national political support.
But look at the dismal support for the Kenny / Burton duo who form

Censorship has kicked in and the hatches battened down.
This is class war. Here's why.
Let's take a closer look at the TV poll figures - versus National poll:

Based on size of parties, the Bankster Right are trailing at 37% to 42%.
But based on TV performance last night, they trail 21% to 75%
among the online population. Among the new generation demographic.
No wonder they are worried.

One comment sums up their problems:
"Arrogance, complacency and as much vision as a blind potato."
Ouch.
Minds are like parachutes.

Gerry Adams is fully compromised...
Cahill a paedophile, his brother a paedophile.....
Gerry Adams dad a paedophile....
Same shit, different people, irrespective of who gets in, there are too many interests involved for anything other than a changing of the guard but business as usual.

Yep - Gerry's father was a pedo and he very likely screwed up Gerry's
brother too. But I'm not quite ready to hang Gerry for other's crimes.
As to real change, the election results in
Greece, France Portugal, Spain - and now
in Ireland, show the Eurozone neoliberals
nearing the end of their rope.
And there is a relevant electoral trend in Ireland which I haven't noted,
because it easily slips attention when the focus is on party support.
The Independents are coming! That's them on the right below:

Independent candidates who have no allegiance to any political party
now have the backing of 29% of the electorate. That makes them
the largest political block - by the way.
Why this is especially relevant is that independents don't follow the
orders of any central party power elite. Political party elites ruthlessly
use so-called party 'whip' powers to force members to vote in the
elites interest - not the interests of their own constituents.
When there are no party thugs in the background wielding mandatory
voting rules, you get real negotiation and compromise. More democracy.
The revolt against political party elites is underway across all western
political systems. Partly it's a maturation of the electorate - and partly
the effect of a new generation with less respect for ANY authority -
let alone the political authorities!
Remember the Irish protest movement has already defeated the
neoliberal water privatization agenda - the ONLY country yet to
stop that corporate rip-off.
Half-a-billion euro worth of water meters are now buried in the ground -
never to be used to charge for water. The government plan was turned
into a debacle by the largest mass movement in decades. Game over.
Right now, the government candidates are not even showing up to defend
their record at televised local constituency election meetings. Too scared!
We'll see the NWO Neolibs get their come-uppance
when votes are cast in the election Friday 26th.

So you just raised a key point which I am in total agreement with, if the independents are becoming a genuine force, then that can be the catalyst for actual change.
As for the neo liberals, I am not in disagreement with you that thdy are seeing their grip loosened but it seems every political party wants to a) either fuck over the people for their own agenda or b)are so engrained to an idealogy that to adhere to it means the people can't be spared.
The whips are one problem but you don't become an elected party mp without the approval of the local establishment minds within that political party's wing.
I could be the most popular local candidate for example but if I disagreed with the policies or even individuals of Labout ocal too much, then I would never be approved of to run as the Labour candidate.

LAST SECONDS OF THE VIDEO - PRICELESS!!

36 HOURS UNTIL VOTING BEGINS........
And they just keep digging the hole deeper for themselves.
By now it's clear the current government will be wiped out.
The establishment's fall-back plan is to try to engineer a
post-election coalition of the two large neoliberal parties: FF & FG
But they fear that even that move would merely postpone the
inevitable and trigger a "Custer's Last Stand" political dynamic.
Bring it on!
