I'm all for clean energy, and a cleaner environment, but to think any kind of measures can stop change or reverse something as powerful and varied as climate is having a laugh. Its incredibly arrogant.

I agree, but of course they know that, this is just a scam, whatever was or was not agreed, they will be syphoning off over a hundred billion each from the west, they will be introducing new environmental taxes, will be making it increasingly tough for people to own their own transport, they will be introducing smart meters into this country, they are banning wood stoves in America, they have already banned non mercury lights in Europe, whether it can occur or not, the proposal to ban washing machines I believe is a real one because we are slipping deeper into totalitarian control.

These policies and initiatives are already be implemented at both a local and regional level. Therefore perhaps part of the reason for publicising events such as COP 21 is to provide the perception to both the opposition that "we are winning" and to the environmentalist crowd "they are getting things done and reacting" to mask the fact that they are just simply slowly rolling out policy which was drawn up a long time ago.

Some 5 years ago whilst my nephew was in his last year of school, they were treated to a video showing what the future will look like in terms of fighting global warming/climate change and within that video everyone has a carbon card and those that don't pollute get lots more credits than those "nasty" polluters.

They showed that video to young and impressionable minds because of the fact that they are introducing them to their future.

Back in the 70s, Schneider et al (at NCAR) held the position that [CO2] could not "save" the planet from the cooling caused by sulfate aerosols that was leading us into the next ice-age. When that cooling trend reversed into the 80s and 90s, Maurice Strong, Al Gore and Houghton (IPCC) called for computer models to predict (oops! PROJECT) doom and gloom scenarios based on ever rising temps. They rigged the only game in town and the suckers went for it, hook, line and sinker.
We just have to keep plugging away at the inconsistencies and inaccuracies of their "science". We shall overcome, some day...

Recent trends are due to El Nino and the fact that weather happens, and changes. (Simplified answer)

It's hardest to explain that to my fellow millennials.
My elders remember global cooling scares etc.
We don't.

I usually keep my mouth shut and just hope this all leads to:
Less plastic
Less diesel particles
Less acid rain

Most young adults I know actually want to have a green impact without seeing dollar signs or being in it for the whole fashion trend factor, so I'm optimistic.
I do hope we see more scientists speaking out on this.

Even the alarmists aren't complaining much about this fabulous east coast weather.

Meanwhile California is about to get all of the rain they were missing, and totally forgot to prepare for collection.

When SEAL team 6 was created, it was named so (they skipped numbers) to make the 'enemy' think they had more teams than they really did at the time. I think many of the US weapons systems/technology is bogus and is just a money grab; the F-35 is a great example. Perhaps this technology mentioned below is questionable as well. It is readily available on the net after all. I assume the psychos realise they have to drink and breathe the same as the underlings do. However, I am a firm believer that if they can/or think they can do something, they will.

Barium should not be in rainwater at all and it mentions on the WHO website that: “Boron is not present in the atmosphere at significant levels (Sprague, 1972). Because borates exhibit low volatility, boron would not be expected to be present as a vapour in the atmosphere to any significant degree.”

Aluminium may get into rainwater if it is blown up into the air from soil.

In the broadest sense, weather-modification can be divided into two major categories: suppression and intensification of weather patterns. In extreme cases, it might involve the creation of completely new weather patterns, attenuation or control of severe storms, or even alteration of global climate on a far-reaching and/or long-lasting scale. In the mildest and least controversial cases it may consist of inducing or suppressing precipitation, clouds, or fog for short times over a small-scale region. Other low-intensity applications might include the alteration and/or use of near space as a medium to enhance communications, disrupt active or passive sensing, or other purposes. In conducting the research for this study, the broadest possible interpretation of weather-modification was initially embraced, so that the widest range of opportunities available for our military in 2025 were thoughtfully considered. However, for several reasons described below, this paper focuses primarily on localized and short-term forms of weather-modification and how these could be incorporated into war-fighting capability. The primary areas discussed include generation and dissipation of precipitation, clouds, and fog; modification of localized storm systems; and the use of the ionosphere and near space for space control and communications dominance. These applications are consistent with CJCSI 3810.01, “Meteorological and Oceanographic Operations.” 11

Modification of the ionosphere to enhance or disrupt communications has recently become the subject of active research. According to Lewis M. Duncan, and Robert L. Showen, the Former Soviet Union (FSU) conducted theoretical and experimental research in this area at a level considerably greater than comparable programs in the West. 25

There is a strong motivation for this research, because induced ionospheric modifications may influence, or even disrupt, the operation of radio systems relying on propagation through the modified region. The controlled generation or accelerated dissipation of ionospheric disturbances may be used to produce new propagation paths, otherwise unavailable, appropriate for selected RF missions. 26

A number of methods have been explored or proposed to modify the ionosphere, including injection of chemical vapors and heating or charging via electromagnetic radiation or particle beams (such as ions, neutral particles, x-rays, MeV particles, and energetic electrons). 27

It is important to note that many techniques to modify the upper atmosphere have been successfully demonstrated experimentally. Ground-based modification techniques employed by the FSU include vertical HF heating, oblique HF heating, microwave heating, and magnetospheric modification. 28

Significant military applications of such operations include low frequency (LF) communication production, HF ducted communications, and creation of an artificial ionosphere (discussed in detail below). Moreover, developing countries also recognize the benefit of ionospheric modification: “in the early 1980’s, Brazil conducted an experiment to modify the ionosphere by chemical injection.” 29

Several high-payoff capabilities that could result from the modification of the ionosphere or near space are described briefly below. It should be emphasized that this list is not comprehensive; modification of the ionosphere is an area rich with potential applications and there are also likely spin-off applications that have yet to be envisioned.
