KATHY MC MAHON - R.I.P.
In the morning of Monday 14th May, 2018, Kathy McMahon passed away
suddenly and unexpectedly during a visit to Geneva. She collapsed after
feeling unwell, and despite emergency aid she died shortly thereafter in
the comforting arms of her daughter Geraldine.
Family and friends are coming to terms with her untimely loss and
interment decisions will be announced in coming days on FB and here in the forum.
Kathy was a vibrant, energetic and caring person whose commitment to
social justice was a light in this world. We will cherish and live up to her
memory.

I'm absolutely stunned Fintan. I can hardly believe it. I'm so, so sorry.
She was a lovely, wonderful person and it was a pleasure to have known her.
My thoughts and prayer with you and her family. R.I.P. |

My God, I am so sad to learn this. Just shocked.
My thoughts and prayers go with her on her journey to the next level.
I can't imagine how you must be feeling, Fintan. If there's anything you can think of that you need any help with, you don't even have to ask - just say it.

Shocked and saddened by Kathy's passing so suddenly.

Can't believe it, so very sad and so sudden.
You two were like the sun and moon together.
She brought so much light to the world. RIP Kathy.

To understand her passing on her terms, she completed her assignment and needed tarry no longer. To place your loss in its proper perspective, you were there for her when and how she needed you. Having fulfilled your role in her journey, you may take solace in having contributed as best you could to meeting the needs that she set out for you. That your sharing resulted in such a gracious and productive synergy is proof of the wisdom and intelligence that exists in this universe. We were all enriched by her presence and will cherish her departure with a bon voyage into the creative void.
Condolences are appropriate but congratulations are also in order. Strength and courage are part of the process as are appreciating their origin and employ.
