Hence, I have put up the YouTube clip of the biggest song in Australia this year.
All I ate as a kid was bread and sugar.
Not surprisingly I suppose, I was diagnosed with an arthritis disease at age 19.
It is called Ankylosing Spondylitis. It attacks soft tissue and calcifies and hardens it.
Not only was my ankles, hips, neck, wrists, knees, sternum, shoulders and fingers affected greatly, but it also attacked my eyes and my heart, which led to open heart surgery at the age of 36 to replace my aorta and aortic valve.
Looking back now with hindsight, I pretty much poisoned my body big time.
Now I have children, I won't be making that mistake again.
Which leads me to my next question.......what are the alternatives?
Trying to explain to family and friends about how bad cereals and dairy are, doesn't go down too well, and leads to the old chestnut of 'don't be silly, there's nothing wrong with it'.

I am not dismissing, deriding, or belittling what you have put forth, but off the top of my head, reading the fluoride deception was enough to make me question the effects that fluoride is having on our bodies and then to learn that in countries like australia there are respected, established scientists who reaffirm the toxic effects it is having upon us.
In addition to this we have the numerous pesticides which are being applied to the crops all of which is contributing to this cocktail. There are of course are things which people never even stop to consider like the leeching of BPA and that's of course before we have even mentioned GMO's and the disastrous effects it is having on the wider environment and on us.
Moreover I have not mentioned MSG and the horrifying spectre of aspartame and, well, you get the picture. So with that said, I am not really sure why you have quantified the likes of gluten as being the plague, when we are plagued by so much.
Sorry for the delay getting back here, but in any event,
that's a great summary of the key toxicological risks in
the modern environment. And some of those are killers!
I suppose what makes wheat special is the sheer tonnage of it which
is consumed in the typical westerner's diet and the fact that almost
everybody IS consuming it - and without big health warnings.

The gliadin(gluten) in wheat opens the human gut and makes it leak like
a sieve. How much depends on your genes - but all human's guts leak.
Specifically, all tight junctions leak. Those are natural barriers and they
are found in: the gut; the brain; the kidneys; all organs, the lungs etc..
You start to leak in all of these vital membranes. Epic consequences.
You die of inflammatory autoimmune-derived typical systemic diseases.
So MSG is a concentrated gluten and does the above and then some!
And RoundUp is a TURBOcharged equivalent sprayed on many cereals.
Not to mention the God-only-knows effects of the frankenfood GMOs.
A rough ranking of weighted risk for average human is to avoid:
Dairy: * Due to the molecular similarity of gluten and casein (protein)
in cow milk/cheese, many people react to similarly to dairy

All kidding aside, these diet changes WORK.
It's like a drug addiction, really.
I've been experimenting with a GARD style diet for at least 5 years,
and only in the last 6 months have I nailed it down. Looking at a regular pizza makes my stomach churn now. Unless it's really good, then many I have a couple of slices and ALWAYS feel like crap for a few days, like clockwork.
I even cut corn, white potatoes, other nightshades, and legumes out. Sick to death of gut problems.
Great cure: broths! Bone broths, veggie broths. Healthy probiotic fillers for sure. I feel great
