Current Status @Noon EST:

- 2 Shooters Reported Down
- Unspecified Fatalities
- 3 Critical but Survivable Injured at one hospital (1 Police)
- 1 Other Injured Policeman at scene

Boston Bombings Link:

According to CNN, at the scene are the Hostage Rescue Team, aka HRT,
a full-time counterrorism tactical unit based in Quantico which is the same
unit which engaged the alleged Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

That unit later had two members die in an "accident."

12:05 ET

Three shooters in all are involved in the Navy Yard shooting.
At least one has a long gun, police said.
AP is reporting one shooter has died.

One of the shooters at large is dressed in fatigues.
Police on scene may be moving to second location.

At least 10 people have been shot — with multiple fatalities.

All that is impressive, but of course, the three shooters...

seems to be turning into one shooter - a former Navy
official in his 50’s whose work status recently changed.

Expect a 3 day lockdown of the entire eastern seaboard. Wink

Have you seen these 2 Potential Shooters?

- White male - military uniform seen @ 8.35 with handgun
- Black male 50yrs - olive mil uniform and a long gun

If so, call the cops, because they have NO idea where
these two potential suspects are - or even if they exist !!

Sounds promising.

We've just had a blizzard of information -
much of it contradictory and all of it hyped
into a national security threat to the USA
.

Confused

Despite the snowdrifts of media reports, we
still have little or no idea what took place:

Quote:
Witnesses described a gunman opening fire from a fourth-floor overlook,
aiming down on people in the cafeteria on the main floor. Others said a
gunman
fired at them in a third-floor hallway. It was not clear whether the
witnesses on different floors were describing the same gunman
.

http://cbsn.ws/17Ez8sQ

Not only is it not clear whether the witnesses on different floors were
describing the same gunman, - we don't even have firm descriptions.

The fog should clear slightly in the hours ahead.

Boston Bombings Link:

As I reported earlier, according to CNN Live broadcast, the Hostage
Rescue Team, aka HRT, which engaged the alleged Boston bomber
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was on the scene.

Here's the official CNN timeline of their arrival:

Quote:
8:20 a.m. -- Active shooter is reported inside the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters building (Building 197) at the Washington Navy Yard in southeast Washington, according to a statement from the Navy. There is one confirmed injury. A "shelter in place" order is issued for Navy Yard personnel. Several hundred people are evacuated.

9:50 a.m. -- A Metropolitan Police Department officer is among "several" injured in a shooting at the Navy Yard, according to a D.C. police spokeswoman.

10:05 a.m. -- U.S. Navy confirms via Twitter several injuries with reports of fatalities.

10:34 a.m. -- Metro police spokeswoman Saray Leon denies media reports about three suspects possibly involved, saying authorities were looking for one suspect. Repeats 10 victims, but does not confirm fatalities.

10:55 a.m. -- A SWAT team is seen going through the gate at the main Navy Yard entrance. The SWAT team is seen escorting people out of the building where the shooter reportedly is located.

11:07 a.m. -- Law enforcement official reports the federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives emergency response team is sent to the scene. It is the same one that helped Boston police apprehend Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The official notes the team includes approximately 20 specially trained, locally stationed special agents.

Sniper On Loose After D.C. Navy Yard Slayings

by Fintan Dunne - 16th Sept 2013 @ 11pm ET

There's a sniper on the loose from the scene of the D.C. Navy Yard
mass killings.
A sniper not apprehended - and now not even sought
by authorities. A sniper whose killing success is itself evidence of his
handiwork.

There were 12 people reported killed by gunfire, but a mere 5 people
injured. How's that for a killed-to-injured ratio!

It's the 16th mass shooting in the U.S. since Obama came to power.

Once again, the initial reports described 'multiple shooters'. Once again, those reports were replaced by 'the lone shooter' narrative, this time a former U.S. Navy reservist named Aaron Alexis.

It seems as though these incidents, as tragic and confusing as they are, are used to distract the populace from more pressing issues.

I'm gonna try and keep my cool about this one. I lost it over the Colorado movie shooting, CT school shooting, the Boston thing ...

Jon Stewart showed how unprofessional the news gatherers behaved in DC, grabbing at straws and putting it out unverified on the air. Well, the two shooters thing was a blurted out mistake. The reporters should have waited until they knew for sure what the story was and it seems the final - and true - story is one shooter.

See? I'm keeping my cool.

Paid assassin or lunatic?

Police Say Man With 48 Bombs Also Had Top Secret Clearance, Guns, A Vest, And Blueprints
Geoffrey Ingersoll | Jan. 8, 2014 | Business Insider

Quote:

A man caught speeding with 48 bombs in his car also had a remote detonating device, guns, and military base schematics and was on an 85 mph b-line toward a U.S. Navy SEALs training facility, Police tell Laura Arenschield of the Columbus Dispatch.

Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 43, was in a 70 mph zone and law enforcement caught up with him on New Years Eve, pulled him over, and eventually arrested him.

Now Boguslawski, who works as a trainer at the Indiana training facility for Navy SEALs, is under suspicion for potential terrorist aspirations.

“I think there is a significant risk to the public,” Assistant Madison County Prosecutor Nick Adkins told reporters, explaining the million dollar bond. “Until we can sort through the facts of this case and what we have here and what his intent was, it is necessary to keep the public safe.”

Here's where things get weird: Boguslawski's day job is as a groundskeeper for an urban training ground that SEALs use to prep for deployments at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in south-central Indiana; incidentally, the same facility he appeared to be heading straight toward.

That's not all, Boguslawski is a specialist in the Army National Guard, where he works as an intelligence analyst and holds a compartmentalized Top Secret security clearance.

Popular military satirist Doctrine Man took to his fan page to ask the obvious, "Who vetted this guy?"

Specialist isn't the highest of ranks though, and the reality is that Boguslawski was probably privy to very little information during his tenure with the Army.

As if things could get any weirder, he lists Pin Whua Kuan Kung Fu and Fencing ahead of security and intelligence on a job website.

Coming off the horrific shootings at the Navy Yard in D.C., the last thing the military needs is another suspected lunatic looking to harm innocents and hailing from within the ranks.

"Boguslawski" !?! Wry smile Wink

Anyway, this is allegedly how/why he was caught:

Quote:
Boguslawski [] appeared to be heading to Indiana when a state trooper
clocked him going 85 mph in a 70 mph zone on I-70. When the trooper
came back to the car to give Boguslawski a ticket, he saw the handle of
a gun between his legs. http://rlu.ru/Ja7

Actually, there was ONE other thing.

This was ONE of his bumper stickers:

Quote:

Ok, lem'me get this straight.

- You are driving a mobile arsenal.
- You have gun-rights bumper stickers.
- And your last name is BogusLawSki.

So you speed well over the limit
just to see how that might go........
Laughing

The skeptics are not convinced:

Quote:
Wait, this guy's civilian job was as a groundskeeper but in the Guard he
did intelligence analysis and had top secret clearance? Doesn't that sound
a bit inconsistent?

Quote:
This "groundsman" / guardsman / intelligence analyst / top secret
clearance holder was probably on government false flag ops duty.
He looks like the white supremacist libertarian fall-guy patsy right
out of central casting.

And some skeptics are even connecting their
conspiracy theory skeptical dots to each other:

Quote:
Muzzie or undercover guy starting out his “jacket” - he has to go around
acting “really nutty” so he appears legit when he later tries to infiltrate
some group.

Same thing McVeigh, the FBI/SPLC agent, also had to do early on for
OkBomb, before it got away from them.

Like Fast & Furious.

The descriptions of what the shooter was wearing indicate at least three different people:

https://twitter.com/AP
--BREAKING: DC police chief says two additional suspects were wearing military-style uniforms.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3067356/posts
Washington Post claims to be quoting DC police in reporting 3 shooters. I note that one is described as dressed all in black, including black hat, and one in fatigues.

http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/16/us/dc-navy-yard-gunshots/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
Police spokesman Chris Kelly described the suspect .... dressed in a black top and black jeans.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/sep/16/lucky-he-was-bad-shot-eyewitness-haunting-encounte/
He could see the shooter was a man dressed in what appeared to be blue clothing.

(witness)Todd Brundidge:  The gunman was wearing all blue, he said.

http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=250413.40
D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier had said authorities were seeking two potential suspects: a white male, 40 to 50 years old, wearing a khaki military-style uniform and a beret, carrying a handgun or pistol; and a black male, also 40 to 50 years old,... wearing an olive military-style uniform...
