Scahill does on occasion hang out with a crew
that I don't much approve of (The Nation, codepink,
seemingly pro-wikileaks, etc.)
but I still think he's one of our best journalists.
Anyone have any thoughts on him being a possible fake?
I guess he doesn't talk about 9.11 much, but I've found that
I can't just expect that, even from the best journalists.
They may know that 'something's up' but tend to avoid
the issue because of the stigma that has been attached,
largely or entirely due to the CIA Fakes and their disinformation
and wild claims. Hell, maybe he thinks Osama was real,
who knows who cares?
All that aside, just watched the first part of this and am posting
to BFN for comments.
Anyways all that crap aside... Good stuff...

Haven't watched parts 2-4 yet but here ya go...checking them out now...
so far on point except for petty stuff like blaming 'neo-conservatives',
Cheney-dictatorship,
and a "coup at the CIA"????...don't make me laugh!
ARGGGHHH!!! So close Jeremy...so close!

what i really find strange is how there is talk now about drones from various experts that go something like this (new meme):

"less people would die in the US annually from drones than from automobile accidents." (paraphrased, but i heard this a couple times just the past week on C-Span.)

great. is this what you tell police when you get pulled over for drinking? "but officer, less people would die from me killing people when they get in my way when i'm drunk than from automobile accidents."

however, it's not like we see the middle and upper classes in these foreign lands getting blasted either. anyone realize this? the areas being targeted seem to be the low-end of the population.

brown is one thing. level of importance according to their nuances, like income or attitude, might be more the argument for why these godforsaken people are being eliminated.

it's a curious thing, politics. if we are hell-bent on reducing the population, then i suppose military objectives do the trick. plus it's lucrative...

perhaps that's what "creative destruction" means.

perhaps that's why we're supposed to be grateful... at least WE'RE not the ones being blown to pieces (in the West).

how long before someone retaliates in-kind? isn't that the reason for all this intensified security? damned now if we fight, damned if we don't?

i don't see this ending well.

That's the general argument. Hit them first
so they don't come after us with a sparkler
stuck in a bucket of non-flammable fertilizer,
or try to light their shoes on fire. Stupid Sand Negroes (only the poor ones who don't sell me slurpees of course)

it's prolly more likely that a teenage geek would log into the pentagon and fire off some nukes... now that is a scary thought considering how f'd up some of those kids are.

when they're caught, they have a chance to become the new ex-enemies employed by the state. or the next bill gates or steve jobs. if the offer is right.

thoughts on that? how about a report from Fintan Dunne on that little realm of cyber punks?

Not so sure about that dude. Confused
Most "underground geeks" are
wannabees in my experience, the real deal are often
generally moral people with a thing
for trolling. I hope someone wouldn't
have such psychopathy to fire off a nuke. Shocked
Truman?

Anyways after viewing the rest of the video
I will give Scahill a 9/10 on information
gathering and story telling, and a 7/10 on putting
it all together.
I just pulled that out of my ass. Laughing

His is dead on about the moral aspects,
clearly an intelligent man with integrity, but it's still,
even with all of his non-partisanship, all about
"this party" or "that administration".
Maybe I am asking too much,
I respect the man for what he does and will let it lie. (no pun intended Wink )
I certainly can't live in a world or psyche
where I judge people for "not being awake enough".
Who am I to judge? We all have something to learn
from each other, just gotta stick clear of the psychopaths
and attention-whores.
