'The United States has called on Iran to release an American citizen of Iranian descent, who appeared on Iranian state TV last Sunday and acknowledged that he was an operative of the Central Intelligence Agency. Link: http://intelnews.org/2011/12/22/01-892/

In the pre-recorded interview, a man identifying himself as Amir Mirzaei Hekmati, from Arizona, said he was arrested by Iranian counterintelligence while on a CIA mission.'

Iran Sentences Former US Marine To Death, Accused Him Of Spying
January 9, 2012 | Mark Memmott | NPR

An American man has been sentenced to death in Iran after a court there convicted him of working for the CIA and going to the Persian nation to spy.

The family of Amir Mirzaei Hekmati, a 28-year-old former U.S. Marine, says he was in Iran to visit his grandmothers.

According to Iran's state-run Press TV, "the verdict was issued by Tehran's Revolution Court on Monday after the defendant was found guilty of collaboration with the US government and its intelligence agency, the CIA, against the Islamic Republic of Iran."

One might assume that a ‘dangling operation’ might refer to the carrot and the stick but this is purely infiltration to be a double agent. Could be a dangling operation like a fish on a line. Who knows, but in that part of the world and with what is going on in the Middle East there must be all sorts of local "games" going on let alone those "games" being played from the comfort of offices in Langley and amongst other umpteen security agencies. Even at 28 did he know what he was getting into?

Is America seen as an allay of the Middle East?

A double agent has to naturally have the profile but coming in from Bagram [was spotted in Bagram - Iranians had Bagram "covered" - part of one of the local "games"] but this is amatuer stuff.

One must admire his bravado but regret his stupidity and for these reasons, including the fact he is clearly an amatuer he should be given leniency to be put in line for the next swap.

Who knows, the story just might be a set up to reflect the state of play between Iran and America, between two countries that are very much as one on a number of issues. To add to the false claims that Iran are heading towards the manufacture of weapons grade plutonium [or is it uranium?].

This 28 year old would not be sent in to the "bad lands" now on a serious spying game. Well, we should hope not. We expect the intelligence services to live upto their name. We expect them all to operate like Nathan Muir. Hekmati is having a Tom Bishop moment.

The death sentence should not be carried out. He is no big fish. Just a minnow who has been caught on a line in a "dangling operation".

It's too funny

this quote by white house souse:
'"Allegations that Mr. Hekmati either worked for, or was sent to Iran by the CIA, are simply untrue. The Iranian regime has a history of falsely accusing people of being spies, of eliciting forced confessions, and of holding innocent Americans for political reasons," said State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.'

Now let's sub in the US gov and it's facility in Guantanamo Bay...has a history of falsely accusing people of being spies, of eliciting forced confessions, and of holding innocent Americans (or Muslims) for political reasons,"

Americans live in a fucking fantasy world. How stupid do u slobs think peeps are?

You country is a joke.

The latest laughable smoke and mirrors show - a democratic election process

look at the candidates

Santorum - good gawd - hahahahahaha

this is the best your murderous country can do?

the sun is setting on the US - adios and good riddance

Of course, if motorcycles blend in more is the danger and the ease with which wet jobs can be carried out acting persuavely for the government to withdraw the death penalty.

And of course, it tells the world that no he isn't CIA or a true American citizen for that matter so we don't care what happens to him.

One might say it is the ugly truth.

Far better to send tough messages than to risk showing weakness pleading for his life and lose face.

He probably feels better than he would have done if Assad held all the cards. Now,he has a bargaining chip whoever he is.

That CIA front would be Kuma Games

News stories come and go - in one ear and out the other. What is it? Attention spans or an addiction for fresh news and moving on?

It's like reading a book and beginning it and putting it down before the middle and the end - whether it is a good story line or not.

Here was the beginning of such a story:-

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/iran-court-sentences-american-to-death/2012/01/09/gIQA3T8GlP_story.html

Hekmati, who was born in Arizona and holds dual citizenship, was given 20 days to appeal the verdict.

Most news sources put out the initial story at the beginning of January.

Where is the middle?

Do we want our news just to be a fad? Not to be around for long before the next one comes along to catch our eye?

It has become the era when stories become published for a short term impact and effect.

On the other hand when stuff is repeated over and over again it has a long term effect. This is even more reason why stuff which is not is paid more attention to.

"That CIA front would be Kuma Games"

The Khazars turn everything into a deception. like the Kuma Games.
1. "CIA" is a deception game. CIA is a Khazar front
2. Kuma Games sure is another front, that will be another Khazar front
3. Israel is also a front, a Khazar front

The head of this manipulation are politicians like Bush Sr, Brzezinski, Kissinger ..... We have to think a bit and the Matrix is straightforward to entangle.
