What is going on? US deployed another carrier group going over to Syria shores, Russians are responding with their Navy. Some talks about Turkey imposing a “No-Fly” zone over Syria helped by US Air Force at the behest of “Arab League”. Total media blackout around the issue. Anybody have any news?

Medvedev's Nov. 23 Address to the Nation: A Stark, Measured Statement of The Grave Strategic Reality

http://eng.news.kremlin.ru/video/1034

(Fintan, please use the Control Panel to add the following HTML tags: object, embed, param.
Otherwise it is pain in the butt to embed anything other than CIA-controlled Youtube)

"First, I am instructing the Defence Ministry to immediately
put the missile attack early warning radar station in Kaliningrad
on combat alert.

"Second, protective coverage of Russia's strategic nuclear
weapons will be reinforced as a priority measure under the
program to develop our air and space defences.

"Third, the new strategic ballistic missiles commissioned by
the Strategic Missile Forces and the Navy will be equipped with
advanced missile defence penetration systems and new
highly-effective warheads.

"Fourth, I have instructed the Armed Forces to draw up
measures for disabling missile defense system data and guidance
systems if need be. These measures will be adequate, effective,
and low-cost.

"Fifth, if the above measures prove insufficient, the
Russian Federation will deploy modern offensive weapon systems in
the west and south of the country, ensuring our ability to take
out any part of the US missile defence system in Europe. One step
in this process will be to deploy Iskander missiles in
Kaliningrad Region."

Are we on the countdown to general war breaking over Syria?

No.

Goddamn 'CIA Fakes' like Zerohedge and GeorgeWashington
blog have been pushing bullshit fear-mongering propaganda.

And Debka hyping it up as usual. lol. Zionist scaremongers.

Medvedev is talking about Europe's missile shield system
- not Syria.

Russia actually abstained on the UN Human Rights Cmtee motion
censoring Syria. So did China. They did that to put pressure on
Assad to hack a deal. If this was a strategic superpower issue
both Russia and China would have voted against.

Only problem there right now is that some groups opposed to
the regime are NWO proxies trying to make a power play in Syria
but that dog won't hunt - and the Russians sent a few ships - just to
mark a placeholder.

So, the "reported" fact that the Russian Carrier Admiral Kuznetsov is due to appear near Tartus by mid-week is greatly exaggerated.

I really hope so. We have just a couple of days to see who is full of it. Your bets are accepted.

On the second note the behavior of Western Powers (GB, US and France) in fermenting the assaults on Arab Nation States is reckless and irresponsible, After all, Russian and Chinese military analysts are not wasting their time reading ”news” from Western Blogs, they have more reliable means of gathering information and they are not stupid.

It is obvious that GB with US in the tow are hell-bend on destroying ALL sovereign Nation States – whether in Europe (Greece, Italy) or in Middle East and put in their pathetic puppet regimes. That will not exclude Russia or China after the fog of war has cleared in Syria and Iran.
The concept of “preventive war” is not the sole property of Western war mongers.

No. The report is real. As I said: It's a Russian placeholder.

It's your CIA Fakes and Debka-inspired analysis that is "greatly exaggerated."

Anyway, why Syria? I thought the Fakes maintain it is Iran we were
about to invade imminently -within days - about 400 times since mid 2004
when Seymour Hersh pushed out the bandwagon. That's 400 times you
have you been conned by this Zionist propaganda. Had enough?

How many times have we been assured that US carrier movements
were a buy signal for an imminent invasion? Had enough?
Wink

No it's political talk. You know: propaganda for Russian TV. Like here.

You can't wet your knickers every time the Anglo-American and Zionist
propagandists need to divert from their own domestic economic problems.

Quote:

Really? ALL of them? Dude, that was then. This is now - and the the NWO
is damaged and broken economic goods barely able to hold Afghanistan.

Normally I could care less what you post here - even if it lacks depth.
But I won't stand for fearmongering. Have you got a hysteria button you
can depress and release? If not, then best post this kind of stuff on AJ's
site, where they think with their asses - not their brain -- and just love
the fear agenda. Any kind of fear will do.

Quote:

I don't have to wait that long. You've been propagandized into figuring
that Russian carrier movements are a harbinger of war just ahead.
The reverse is the case - as was obvious from the moment the
first Russian ship docked.

Best let Viktor Kravchenko explain how it works:

Quote:
Moscow is deploying warships at its base in the Syrian port of Tartus.
The long-planned mission comes, providentially, at the very moment
when it could help prevent a potential conflict in the strategically
important Middle Eastern country.

The Russian battle group will consist of three vessels led by the heavy
aircraft-carrying missile cruiser, Admiral Kuznetsov. Russian military
officials insist that the move has no connection with the ongoing crisis in
the region and was planned a year ago, the Izvestia newspaper reports.

Apart from Syria, the aircraft carrier and its escort ships are set to visit
the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Genoa in Italy and Cyprus, says the
former Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Viktor Kravchenko.

Nevertheless, he added that the presence of a military force other
than NATO’s is very useful for this region, because “it will prevent the
outbreak of an armed conflict
,” Izvestia quoted Kravchenko as saying.

http://rt.com/news/russian-aircraft-carrier-syria-363/

Suppose the cops hear rumors someone may try an armed robbery
at a local bank branch - and so they post a cop car outside the branch.

Does that make it more or less likely there will be a bank job?

Less, I think. The Russian placeholder is not even designed to prevent
an invasion. It's simply designed to prevent a no fly zone being imposed.

And that's leaving aside the fact that another new war front
involving the US would drive people in the USA apoplectic and cause huge
backlash to the administration. There was huge flack even over the limited
involvement of the US in the Libyan escapade.

Not to mention that a mid-east military campaign would tank the global
economy - and have immediate catastrophic effects in the US - where
$7 a gallon gas alone would cause a revolution.

Even without OWS!! Laughing

Dude, Assad has no friends left. Russians and Chinese have abandoned
him. That's why they abstained on the UN vote - to send him a message.

But neither are they about to let the West turn revolt into US/NATO win.

The Libyan move was done with a behind the scenes agreement which
secured Russian and Chinese interests. That's why they played ball.

But Syria is a strategic interest of both. A deal will be done. Just not yet.

Fear mongering is a pretty serious accusation. There are fear mongers who do it for the fun of it, shouting “Fire!!!” in the crowded theater. There are fear mongers who do it for commercial reason – just selling you some survivalist gear. And finally, there are legitimately concerned citizens of this planet who have a valid reason to believe that the current Western Management went totally berserk, running amok in their desire to bring all National Governments down by all means available, whether it is a financial terrorism and assault with deadly derivatives(as seen in European theatre) or Narco terrorism and assault with US DOJ-supplied automatic weapons (as seen in Mexico) or assault with the armed thugs supported by Air cover as seen in Libya.
Do they want to bring ALL governments down? I don’t know, but it sure does seem like it.
But I see what I see and I make my conclusions. Yes, I have a stake in it, but not that I am trying to sell you some merchandise (aside from Singer sewing machine turned DIY masturbator, which I hope everyone realizes was just a poor attempt at satire). My stake is not to turn the planet where I live, my wife lives(all 3 of'em), my daughter lives into a radioactive waste which I firmly believe current leaders of Western Nations are perfectly content of turning into.
My stake is trying to awake my fellow planet co-inhabitants into at least considering some anti-war actions, which I don’t see even close. When you say that another war will drive people in US apoplectic and cause huge backlash I don’t quite see it this way. All I see is a bunch of catatonics hypnotized by whatever pacifier suits them best, not excluding endless salivating over intelligence intrigues.

I love that twist - providentially

I can’t help thinking how History repeats itself. 150 years ago during the American Civil War Russians sent two Navies, one to San Francisco and another to New York to block any British attempt to interfere into American Civil War on behalf of their Confederate stooges.

British goal back then was the same as it is now: to Balkanize the rapidly rising rival to the Empire and set up a puppet regime.

That was the time when United States hasn't gone yet to the Dark Side.

And please don’t tell me that they don’t want to bring ALL governments down. That is EXACTLY what British did back in 1848 when ALL European Governments, except for GB and Russian, where taken down with “then” version of “Color Revolution” led by the agent of British Admiralty Giuseppe Mazzini.
After accomplishing that, British immediately started anti-Russian operation that is known as Crimean War, and having PARTIALLY won that, started operation against Lincoln’s United States in 1861.

If just the naïve Americans knew the history beyond the Clinton’s presidency.

Space Corps launch boosts Russian defenses

Moscow has launched a team of Space Defense Troops. The corps is a reply to the US and NATO’s constant push towards creating the European Missile Defense system with components stationed near the Russian border.
Space Defense Troops are a brand new combat arm aimed at providing Russia’s security in air and space.
The troops are made up of space, air and missile defense commands, as well as the Plesetsk spaceport near Arkhangelsk in northern Russia and Kura testing area in Kamchatka in the Far East.

Just in case? Russian fleet to reach Syria in December

"Speculation is growing whether Russian war ships heading to the Mediterranean will indeed anchor by the Syrian coast. And, despite military officials’ assurances, some expect it to disturb the balance of power in the region."

Iran shows intercepted CIA drone unscathed

Days after the Pentagon first denied and then admitted that it lost touch with a high-tech drone aircraft, authorities in Iran are now saying that they have the plane — and its condition is pristine.
The unmanned, robotic aircraft — a RQ170 Sentinel drone plane — disappeared last week. American authorities quickly dismissed claims that they lost the plane over Iran, only to later admit that the CIA was flying a reconnaissance mission over Afghanistan when they lost touch with the top-secret stealth drone. Soon after it was believed that communication was cut once the plane waded through the air in Iranian territory. American officials then claimed that satellite imagery showed that the drone had crashed and was beyond repair.
Officials out of Tehran, however, now say that they intercepted the craft and have it in perfect shape. For proof, Iran television has even broadcast footage of the craft.

Did Russia Help Iran Down Drone?
Suspicion in Washington that Moscow was behind Iran's huge cyber coup. As we Russians like to say: "For every smart ass there is a dick with a screw"
