It is nice to see science with all it's validation tools of measurement to begin getting closer to the grand mysteries.
Yes...meditation is fundamental to a deeper experience. We all have the potential to witness what has been termed as God. I have had my vivid God experience with all its spectacular fireworks; yet 99% of my meditation experience has been much more ordinary in experience. Ordinary in the sense of slow methodical growth in inner sensitivities; but that is were your fruit comes from....the day to day ordinary sitting practice of witnessing your inside relationship of your thoughts and feelings without judgement but of genuine curiousity. Staying alert but not getting stuck...staying in the flow. Take what is needed and letting go of the rest. It is a retraining of the self. _________________ It has been said that "curiosity" killed the cat but it might be more accurately stated that "seriousity" killed the cat.

I personally have never tried meditation. I just can't get into it. But I will tell you my dreams are of astonishment and wonder, to far places and of all living things. When I dream this way, which is usually 1-2 times a week the world is clearer, and I feel more connected to our little pearl hurling through the space and time continuum.
Animals seem to pick it up in me when I have had a moment of clarity. There is a calm and a truth, and then the resurgence of the pain, misery and sadness I feel from others around me. Sometimes its more than I can bare. Our time is certainly changing and as I am writing this, The Blue Pearl is reminding me of that (something it does regularly, and I don't know why I am so connected). The darkened clouds of the ever changing lanscape I call home have arrived, and are as ferocious as ever. _________________ The Lies have always been different at every Level...
