I've never seen the movie but I love how Sacha brings Ron's homophobia out into full view....by being a blantant, way over the top, over-sexed homosexual.
Sacha Baron Cohen seems like a smart guy but sadly resorts to simply un-creatively making fun of people most of the time, making millions in the process. "Everyone is stupid, crazy, and/or an asshole etc." I have heard from friends that most of "Bruno" resorts to this, similar to "Borat". A sell-out as far as I'm concerned.
His characters do seem to work when he brings out the fears of other people, rather than simply portraying a stereotype of an Eastern European or Gay Austrian.
The above video seems worthy of his good old days on 'Da Ali G Show'. Making fun of Ron Paul is a.ok with me!
Why didn't he sock him in the nose?
