An interesting aside regarding the SOI (Southern Oscillation Index) trade winds and the El nino phenomenon.

I was discussing this with Mark Sudduth at HurricaneTrack.com as he has a public and a members-only ($25 US per year) site to follow him on his "trips" into hurricane landfalls. Always a lot of fun

Indeed, the SOI is linked in the pattern.

Thanks for the heads-up on the sites. _________________ Minds are like parachutes.

I watched that Keith and felt like jumping into the screen and giving that interviewer wanker a couple of uppercuts!
Watched the other video and seen the suckhole apologise....dont think it was that sincere though.
How are you Keith?
Were you effected by the earthquake mate?
Im in Australia and our hearts go out to you guys.

Cheers Rusty for your concern. Luckily I've lived in Perth here in Oz for years so was unaffected and the people I know in Christchurch are safe.
It is great how the Aussies and Kiwis have supported each other recently through the fires, floods and quakes.
Imagine England and Ireland trying that... _________________ "Any one who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices." Voltaire |

Mind you, after that statement of English - Irish accord is NOW out the window.
I know you American people won't understand but tonight Ireland just beat England in a World Cup Cricket match, which is just unbelievable.!!! _________________ "Any one who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices." Voltaire |

And yes, they are going nuts in both Ireland and England as a
result of the "Paddies" beating the English at their own game.
