Why?

US Air Force wants to plasma bomb the sky using tiny satellites
9 August 2016 | New Scientist

Quote:
Can you hear me now? The US Air Force is working on plans to improve radio communication over long distances by detonating plasma bombs in the upper atmosphere using a fleet of micro satellites.

Since the early days of radio, we’ve known that reception is sometimes better at night. Radio stations that cannot be picked up by day may be heard clearly at night, transmitting from hundreds of kilometres away.

This is down to changes in the ionosphere, a layer of charged particles in the atmosphere that starts around 60 kilometres up. The curvature of Earth stops most ground-based radio signals travelling more than 70 kilometres without a boost.

But by bouncing between the ionosphere and the ground they can zigzag for much greater distances. At night the density of the ionosphere’s charged particles is higher, making it more reflective.

This is not the first time we’ve tinkered with the ionosphere to try to improve radio communication and enhance the range of over-the-horizon radar. HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program in Alaska, stimulates the ionosphere with radiation from an array of ground-based antennas to produce radio-reflecting plasma.
Direct delivery

Now the USAF wants to do this more efficiently, with tiny cubesats, for example, carrying large volumes of ionised gas directly into the ionosphere.

As well as increasing the range of radio signals, the USAF says it wants to smooth out the effects of solar winds, which can knock out GPS, and also investigate the possibility of blocking communication from enemy satellites.

There are at least two major challenges. One is building a plasma generator small enough to fit on a cubesat – roughly 10 centimetres cubed. Then there’s the problem of controlling exactly how the plasma will disperse once it is released.

The USAF has awarded three contracts to teams who are sketching out ways to tackle the approach. The best proposal will be selected for a second phase in which plasma generators will be tested in vacuum chambers and exploratory space flights.
Vaporised metal

General Sciences in Souderton, Pennsylvania, is working with researchers at Drexel University in Philadelphia on a method that involves using a chemical reaction to heat a piece of metal beyond its boiling point. The vaporised metal will react with atmospheric oxygen to produce plasma.

Another team, Enig Associates of Bethesda, Maryland, and researchers at the University of Maryland, are working on a more explosive solution. Their idea is to rapidly heat a piece of metal by detonating a small bomb and converting energy from the blast into electrical energy. Different shaped plasma clouds can be generated by changing the form of the initial explosion.

However, it’s not clear whether the USAF will succeed. “These are really early-stage projects, representing the boundaries of plasma research into ionosphere modification,” says John Kline, who leads the Plasma Engineering group at Research Support Instruments in Hopewell, New Jersey. He thinks one of the biggest stumbling blocks will be packing enough power to generate plasma onto small satellites. “It may be an insurmountable challenge.”

David Last, former president of the UK’s Royal Institute of Navigation, is sceptical about USAF’s ambitions to counteract the effects of solar wind. When solar storms disrupt GPS signals, the entire side of Earth facing the sun is affected, he says. Ironing out those disturbances would require an extremely large and speedy intervention. “You don’t calm a stormy sea by filling in the gaps,” says Last.

Why do US citizens tolerate this??? Why does the US gov give the parasite funds at all? Neighborhoods crumbling, cutbacks etc....why give them these huge sums???? Is this another gov scam; to prop up the F-35 fleecing of America?

Obama's offering of largest military aid package in history is not enough for Israel
09.08.2016 | Sputnik

Quote:
Israeli officials play hardball, demanding that the Obama Administration pony up more than the record $40 billion ten-year offering made by the US -- by a cool $10 billion

Last week, US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford met with his Israeli counterpart at the Pentagon to discuss the new multi-billion-dollar military assistance package currently in negotiation between the Obama and Netanyahu administrations.

The package, proposed by the White House, calls for an unprecedented $40 billion in military aid over the next ten years, the single largest appropriation of foreign financial aid in world history, and significantly higher than the previous $30-billion agreement signed 10 years ago.

The Netanyahu Administration remains adamant that they will hold out for the best possible deal in light of geopolitical developments in Turkey and Syria that have resulted in a winnowing of America’s regional allies and its subsequent ability to project influence into the Middle East. The Israeli PM expressed unwillingness earlier in the year to accept anything less than $50 billion over the next ten years. (Get lost parasite! Spend your own $'s on your race to the bottom!)

It has been speculated that Israel may be reticent to push the Obama Administration too strongly, for fear that they may not be able to negotiate as large a subsidy from the next president, especially in light of Donald Trump’s railings that the US is giving away too much money to foreign governments for the sake of its own security. However, with a decidedly hawkish Hillary Clinton surging in the polls in recent weeks, the Netanyahu Administration’s negotiating hand has improved.

In prolonged talks last weekend, the US Defense Department said in a statement that General Dunford stressed the closeness of US-Israeli relationships to Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot, the chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces.

Eizenkot was awarded the Legion of Merit, an award given to foreign military and political officials for "performance of outstanding services," by a full honor guard as part of the Obama Administration’s charm offensive.

The influence of Lt. Gen. Eizenkot may be overplayed, however, as he was appointed by the former Israeli Defense Minister, Moshe Ya’alon, who broke ranks with the increasingly hardline Netanyahu regime on Iran, and who further vowed to run against the Israeli Prime Minister in the next election.

"At this time and in the foreseeable future, there is [no] existential threat to Israel" from Iran, said Ya’alon, in the midst of negotiations regarding the Iran nuclear deal. Netanyahu not only publicly differs on this point, but would lose a major bargaining chip to garner US defense appropriations if the perceived threat from Israel is downplayed.

Marine Corps General Dunford apparently aimed in his meeting to set the Netanyahu regime at ease regarding whether the spigot of military aid would continue, bringing Eizenkot to Utah where the Israeli Lt. Gen. saw F-35 fighter jets, costing a whopping $200 million per aircraft, being prepared for delivery to Israel later this year.

Concurrent to Eizenkot’s visit, acting head of the Israeli National Security Council Yaakov Nagel met with US National Security Adviser Susan Rice on a final draft of a new memorandum of understanding on military assistance to Israel set to come into effect in 2018 when the current memo expires.

Initial reports claim that Israel believes that the offering by the Obama Administration is still unsatisfactory.

Pentagon’s Sloppy Bookkeeping Means $6.5 Trillion Can’t Pass an Audit
Eric Pianin Follow | July 31, 2016 | Fiscal Times

Quote:
The Defense Department over the years has been notorious for its lax accounting practices. The Pentagon has never completed an audit of how they actually spend the trillions of dollars on wars, equipment, personnel, housing, healthcare and procurements.

An increasingly impatient Congress has demanded that the Army achieve “audit readiness” for the first time by Sept. 30, 2017, so that lawmakers can get a better handle on military spending. But Pentagon watchdogs think that may be mission impossible, and for good reason.

A Department of Defense inspector general’s report released last week offered a jaw-dropping insight into just how bad the military’s auditing system is.

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, the behemoth Indianapolis-based agency that provides finance and accounting services for the Pentagon’s civilian and military members, could not provide adequate documentation for $6.5 trillion worth of year-end adjustments to Army general fund transactions and data.

I loved this sobering blog about the realities of American sabre rattling against Russia.

And so, most of the recent American warmongering toward Russia can be explained by the desire to find anyone but oneself to blame for one’s unfolding demise. This is a well-understood psychological move—projecting the shadow—where one takes everything one hates but can’t admit to about oneself and projects it onto another.

Great article Kiwi.

Quote:
Why President Obama was treated so “shamefully/dishonorably” by the Chinese. This due to the United States “deliberate and calculated” military interference of a “legitimate” international business “transaction/sale deal” between China and an Israeli company named Spacecom.

Spacecom is an Israeli communications satellite operator in the Middle East, European Union and North America headquartered in the city of Ramat Gan, Israel who agreed last month (24 August) to the sale of their company to the privately owned Chinese company Beijing Xinwei Technology Group.

The Beijing Xinwei Technology Group is one of China’s largest telecommunications companies that MoD analysts have long noted is “effectively owned and controlled” by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA).

With the sale of Spacecom to Beijing Xinwei Technology Group being contingent upon the successful launching of the AMOS-6 satellite from Florida’s Cape Canaveral on Saturday (3 September) the Obama regime “obviously/without doubt” determined that it would not be in the best interest of the United States to see this massive technology transfer take place—and in their not being able to stop this sale in any legal way, simply decided to destroy it.

As to how the AMOS-6 satellite was destroyed was from the firing of an advanced “laser-weapon” that was aboard an unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) launched from a US Navy aircraft carrier operating in the waters off the Eastern coastal waters of the US.

Specifically the US Navy nuclear powered supercarrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) reported last week that it was operating in these waters to test F-35C Lightning II fighter aircraft capabilities—but was, instead, conducting secret test flights of a Northrop Grumman X-47B (drone) that was equipped with a General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) high-energy laser type device the Pentagon had previously reported they wanted to have operational in 2017.

On 1 September “satellite intelligence” detected a X-47B departing from the USS George Washington on a course towards Cape Canaveral—where this “laser equipped” drone then dropped from its “high flight altitude”, made a “circle/diameter” around a Falcon 9 rocket (owned by SpaceX) on the launch pad, immediately after which the rocket exploded destroying Spacecom’s AMOS-6 satellite—and that was captured by video recordings.

And, as always, the American people themselves will never be allowed to know the truth of any of this.

Quote:
Sent to “observe/report on” the launching of the AMOS-6 satellite from Florida’s Cape Canaveral was Israel’s newest Dolphin class submarine INS Rahav—but that less than 48 hours from the 1 September destruction of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket by a X-47B drone, was itself attacked on 3 September by a massive underwater explosion caused by the dropping into the waters off the Florida coast of a “special device”, and was so powerful it caused a 3.7 magnitude earthquake to occur.

Though the characteristics of the “special device” dropped into the Florida waters meant to destroy the INS Rahav is top secret, sources note that it was “deployed/released” by a Sikorsky S-61N helicopter owned by the secretive Obama-Clinton “private army” named AAR Corp—and whose Chairman and CEO, David Storch, as a powerful member of the Economic Club of Chicago, paid Hillary Clinton millions-of-dollars for “speeches” she gave to this secretive organization in “payment” for the contracts she gave them while she was Secretary of State.

In order to “cover-up/disguise” the 3 September Florida earthquake the attack upon the INS Rahav caused the propaganda US media to report that it was due to a “stress-shock” test done against the littoral (close to shore) combat ship USS Jackson—but with they failed to note that on 20 July, the US Navy reported that the last of these “stress-shock” tests for the USS Jackson had been completed in the middle of July.

And in what source analysts call a “swift retaliation”, the same US Navy “directed/controlled” X-47B drone that destroyed the AMOS-6 satellite on 1 September, likewise, destroyed the AAR Corp. Sikorsky S-61N helicopter that had attacked the INS Rahav—with local US media reports stating only that it crashed and exploded in central Florida - despite not showing signs of distress beforehand.

Some believe that the downing of this helicopter was not retaliation, but meant to “cover-over/silence” the AAR Corp. crew members who attacked the INS Rahav, and who are all now dead—and point to the same thing currently occurring in Syria where the Pentagon and CIA are now reported to be at war with each other.

Up to 70 transport aircraft owned and/or leased by the US-based Frontier Services Group (FSG) have begun departing the Persian Gulf federation of United Arab Emirates (UAE) with their destinations being the United States and that are “packed/loaded” with arms and forces belonging to one of the most feared mercenary forces (private army) owned and managed by Reflex Responses Management Consultancy (RRMC).

Critical to note about both of these companies, FSG and RRMC is that they are owned by Erik Prince, who is not only one of the world’s acknowledged experts on creating private armies, he is, also, a loyal supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and whose sister, Betsy DeVos, was appointed yesterday by Trump to be his new administrations main leader in dismantling all of America’s leftist indoctrination centers—that in the US are called “schools”.

Erik Prince, this report continues, was the founder, in 1997, of the private American military company known as Blackwater USA (that changed its name to XE Services than Academi) and was a covert member of a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) task force designated to assassinate radical Islamic terror leaders.

Upon the Obama-Clinton regime taking in power in 2009 Erik Prince was outed by Hillary Clinton as a CIA operative while his company, Blackwater USA, came under ferocious attack by the US mainstream leftist media—after which he sold his company (in 2010) and moved to the UAE’s capital city of Abu Dhabi where he took up residence in one of the first luxury villas built at the Trump International Golf Club.

Once arriving in the UAE Erik Prince created a “secret army” with the backing of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan—and whom, upon Trump’s victory, sent to America’s new President-elect a personal congratulatory cable wishing him success and progress in his new position.

To fully understand why UAE’s president financed Erik Prince’s creation of this “secret army” was due a “war/conflict” erupting between two of this nations richest billionaires and their companies--Hussain Sajwani, the CEO and founder of the DAMAC Group, and Khalaf Al Habtoor, the founder of the Al Habtoor Group.

The “war/conflict” that erupted between these UAE billionaire builders Mr. Sajwani and Mr. Al Habtoor involved Mr. Al Habtoor’s secret financing of Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/Daesh) terrorists—and that he bribed (along with other Arab Sheiks) Hillary Clinton to cover-up by becoming one of the largest donors to her campaign through her money laundering organization know as the Clinton Foundation.

Mr. Sajwani, on the other hand, who is President-elect Trump’s business partner became alarmed at Mr. Al Habtoor’s financing of Islamic State terrorists and contacted Trump earlier this year explaining the full scope of this plot, and Hillary Clinton’s involvement, after which Trump called for a ban on Muslims entering the US—and to which Mr. Al Habtoor responded to by threatening that if Trump was elected the UAE would pull billions of investments out of America.

Having the world’s 6th largest reserves in natural gas Mr. Al Habtoor’s Al Habtoor Group “master plan” in financing Islamic State terrorists was intended to destroy the governments of Syria and Iraq in order to build a pipeline to the European Union which at this time neither Syria or Iraq will allow as they prefer working with Iran—and with Russian military power now siding against these Islamic terrorists, the only way the Al Habtoor-Clinton-ISIS plan could ever work would be in the aftermath of World War III.

With President-elect Trump’s private company planning to build more hotels throughout the Middle East in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi Arabia America’s new leader’s aversion to World War III is not only justified on an economic basis for his families fortunes, but also will allow him to spend trillions-of-dollars in the United States instead of on that countries needless wars in the cause of globalism.

Erick Prince must be flying over Trumps new security detail, maybe he doesn't trust the security services.

$10 Trillion Heist: The Pentagon Has Never Been Audited
Paul Kaiser | Mar 22, 2017 | Russian Insider

The Department of Defense has never had an audit. The result? $10 trillion in taxpayer money has gone unaccounted for since 1996.

Subverting foreign democracies and supporting the resultant dictatorships doesn't come cheap! Besides, our corporate overlords really appreciate our support of their financial interests...

Analysts say a reckoning is coming — even as Republicans seek tax cuts that will add at least $1.5 trillion to the national debt.

The post-9/11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere have been fought with borrowed money, enough to require up to $8 trillion in interest payments in coming decades, a new report says.

Unlike America’s previous wars, its 21st-century conflicts have been paired not with a tax hike or massive sale of U.S. bonds, but a tax cut. The federal government has been operating at a deficit since 2002, accruing a national debt that now totals $20 trillion and counting.

Link: http://watson.brown.edu/costsofwar/files/cow/imce/news/Costs%20of%20U.S.%20Post-9_11%20NC%20Crawford%20FINAL%20.pdf

The 2017 report from Brown University’s Costs of War Project arrives as U.S. lawmakers and President Donald Trump strive to enact tax changes that will add at least $1.5 trillion to the national debt.

By coincidence, $1.5 trillion is also roughly how much the United States has spent on wars since 2001, at least according to the Pentagon’s most recent estimate. But the Cost of War Project researchers take a broader view of “war-related spending” by the federal government. They include State Department security funding, care for veterans, and interest on the related debt. Their latest annual report, released today, calculates that the last 16 years have seen the United States spend $4.3 trillion on the wars.

So far, they estimate, the U.S. has paid $534 billion on interest on borrowed Overseas Contingency Operations funding. That will only grow.

“Even if the U.S. stopped spending on war at the end of this fiscal year, interest costs alone on borrowing to pay for the wars will continue to grow apace,” says the report, written by Neta Crawford, a political science professor at Boston University. “By 2056, a conservative estimate is that interest costs will be about $8 trillion unless the U.S. changes the way that it pays for the wars.”

Concerns about how the government is paying for its overseas footprint were enough to persuade the ranking member on the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Adam Smith, break from his colleagues in their full-fledged support of the National Defense Authorization Act.

Both Armed Services Committees agreed on Wednesday to pass a $700-billion defense authorization bill for 2018. That’s about $85 billion more than allowed by the 2011 Budget Control Act.
