Thread for things you need to express but can't say to pretty much anyone outside of this group because you want to have some friends in real life. I'll start.

Discrimination aside, it doesn't make me upset that Trump has issued a ban on Transgender people in the US military.

THE MILITARY DOES NOT PROTECT ANYONE'S FREEDOM. THEY KILL BROWN PEOPLE TO PAVE THE WAY FOR CORPORATE PROFITS.

Enlisting in the military is giving your consent to do the dirty work for democracy-crushing colonialists and imperialists. Telling a group of people they are not allowed to serve is doing that group a favor. No one should ever enlist except the capital elites that the military actually exists to serve. And no one should claim discrimination for being denied the right to wear a uniform that makes it somehow okay to kill brown people.

Laughing Right?

Trans rights are important, as are human rights.

Great wedge issue though. Another one of those real issues twisted into
a popular fashion statement for elites and their pawns.

I mean a trans-person DID get us that video footage, and did a lot of time behind bars for it, even if it was a kind of deliberate psyop in there somewhere.
Showing just how fucked up these wars are.

I suppose it kind of bothers me...but then again I'm like your and don't care for the military much, killed or fucked over too many people I know, and many many more I don't know.
Frankly I don't even think we need cops that much. I've seen and lived in small towns in the western US that simply do not call, need, or rely on the sheriffs departments there at all, except for the most serious of emergencies...and I've seen car wrecks cleaned up by locals.

I've been noticing even heavily left-leaning (suppose I could sometimes, depending not the issue, say the same of myself but try and stay out of the games) friends are lightening up on political correctness.

It is okay now to admit that a trans woman winning a track and field event or a trans MMA fighter beating up a bunch of women is silly as fuck.

I suppose it's every persons right to call that out as much as it is their right to gender play. Nothing wrong with a dude getting witchy once and awhile. Wink

I mean...they were banned for 7 years under Obama and nobody said shit.

Thanks guys. I just stole your points and posted them on another board where this issue came up.

Funny how they were banned under Obama but now when Trump says it, especially when he's probably heard from an expert admitting them is a bad idea, you are bothered. Not to mention that the US military killing of civilians and fighting stupid wars is a much more important issue. This trans-gender thing is a wedge issue, the same stupid tactic we hated Bush and FOX for. Terri Schiavo, anyone

Who gives a flying fuck?
Social justice isn't just poisonous it's also a distraction.
The same people who could give a fuck about chemical weapons being used in Fallujah , depleted uranium being dropped like it's candy, Agent Orange.
The same people who cry about freedom of speech because they get kicked off a private Twitter page will demand and unite that "hate speech" be banned.
The same people who cry "sexist" have no issue with labeling a woman a cunt, a bitch a poisonous sub group of women when the woman doesn't hold their values.
Let's resolve ALL of the glaringly hideous, disgusting vile happenings in the world and then we could have a rational debate, discussion about these peripheral issues.
Of course I am dreaming, who needs that when you have soundbites, memes and talking heads galore too.
All of this fucking group think it's truly wearing

The carnage is necessary for the elevation of an elite. Those in control know this and believe that they (the oligarchy) will benefit. The more people, the less the suffering needed to generate the impetus but, as far as they are concerned, it's all for a good cause (them!) so, wtf! and bring it on...
The actual result is an elevation in the understanding and enlightenment of those individuals able to transcend these atrocious acts. Those individuals are not in the limelight nor are they unaware of that same light. They are the ones that side-step attention and slip through the cracks, avoiding detection and detention.
For the MEEK shall inherit the earth. (Mentally Enlightened Engendering Knowledge)

Here's a good one:

Fiat currency and fractional reserve banking are not good systems for managing global currency unless inequality is the goal. This one won't get you ostracized as much as it will get you blank stares because no one knows WTF these things even are.

Yes! Absolutely the best way to get yourself taken off
the invited dinner guest list by a large bunch of folks Laughing

Omg it was 2005 when we did that interview with Ken Humphries
and it isn't even listed in the forum (was on a pre-forum system):

Hard to believe that Wikipedia actually says this:

Quote:
In modern scholarship, the Christ myth theory is a fringe theory not
supported by any tenured specialists in biblical criticism or cognate
disciplines. The Christ myth theory contradicts the mainstream historical
view, which is that while the gospels include many mythical or legendary
elements, these are religious elaborations added to the biography of a
historical Jesus who did live in 1st-century Roman Palestine, was baptized
by John the Baptist and was crucified by the order of the Roman prefect
Pontius Pilate.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_myth_theory

"contradicts the mainstream historical view" ROTFLMAO Laughing
Bizarre how overwhelming evidence that Jesus is a composite of
previous virgin-born deity myths is simply ignored altogether.

I mean even Osama Bin Liner hasn't had as much pure 100% propaganda
wrapped around him. - And he WAS real(ish). Talk about repeating a lie
often enough and people believe it's true.

Agreed. But that Jesus one is also good at bringing out the blank stares
if you try it with the true believers. Keep at it and their mouths start to
hang open and they begin to dribble......

Anyway, just to kick a great topic thread along.... here's another one...

HIV is not infectious. Exclamation

Try that among male gays and get ready for some serious dribbling.

Bang it home by explaining how hemophiliacs couldn't possibly have
been infected by HIV in hemophilia factor 8 blood collected from donors.
Because freeze drying and heat treating that blood destroys any viral
envelope and renders any alleged viral content 100% inoperative....

Duuuuh!

Atwill's "Caesar's Messiah" is another bolster to the myth. As for HIV and retro-viruses in general, pretty fragile when not in-vivo.
