What, if anything, is Morgellons Disease?

I cringe to post this, because it REEKS of tin-foil-ness... But I'd like to see what the good minds of BFN have to say about Morgellon's Disease. Some have connected Morgellon's with the also tin-foil-friendly Chemtrails phenomenon. I'd like to believe that it's total psyop BS, but with no evidence about it either way, I defer to any of you here who have looked into it in more detail. I'm interested to know what you have uncovered about this possibly frightening, possibly imaginary disease.

Morgellons Goes Mainstream

Based on feedback I've gotten; I believe it's real. People tying it to so called chem-trails is not.

I have had interactions with people on the Morgellons, some might genuinely have some condition but in mho many people who post on the forum, well when there used to be a forum, were just freaked out by what they were reading, these people may have had other skin conditions but were sucked into the Morgellons site. Some have serious fungal activity on their skin from all the different chemicals they are using.

I have had contact with people who use all kinds of chemicals on their skin, taking ivermectin horse paste, self medicating from the farm supply store and even applying kerosene to their skin. Many use ton's of scabies lotions on their skin which are toxic - they end up with immune system problems as a result of what they are using.

I am not a doctor but from what I have read on Morgellons forum and through email I question the whole thing.
