WOOOO! HOOOO!
Yes, yes and fucking more yes! Ditto Lypsy!
Just about to roll the tape here in Suomi.
Apologies for the uncharacteristically short post Leon and Rom, I shall explain at a later juncture...

Wish I'd stayed up a little later last night in order to catch this.
Ah well, now I have an upgrade for my afternoon hike. |

yes, because if everyone in the 99.99% (well, at least 80-85%) got work at $3 an hour, it would only be worse all over the world. NO ONE is going to buy anything. No one will will ever move out of the new lower class.
buying is not what will save the economy, not for everyone.
can this reinvention happen with less internet? cos what if..? you mean channels of off-grid networks will be the new bi-directional civilian medium?
i think it would need to go that way.

wouldn't it be funny if this new network allowed for member commerce (not the mainstream commerce) and people become self-sufficient... oh lordy... and not taxed either.
woohoo, the people may be deciding when and how much to pay govt for any services. hahaha. oh my, oh my...
oh lordy... self-regulated too. (hopefully in an ethical way.)
now that would be a paradigm shift out of the matrix.

"now that would be a paradigm shift out of the matrix"
... or right back into it, but with more efficient, electronic control.
Neo-Liberals are too fascinated about modern primitive digital technology and think that it gives them a second shot on establishing world-wide fascism.
They are up to a big surprise... |

“and people become self-sufficient...”
I ‘d bet my bottom dollar that I am the most self-sufficient guy on that forum just due to simple fact that I produce probably close to 60% of the food that my family consumes. (milk, beaf, pork, poultry, vegetables)
I am not even dreaming of achieving 100% self sufficiency: medicines (animals and humans), electricity, and roads I move around on, machinery maintenance and the list goes on and on.
I am not sure how you guys could replace modern Nation State with some kind of alternative networks, but I am willing to listen…
PS. Oh, I even produce my own boose - 184 proof and totally hangover-proof (in reasonable quantities of course). I do it the old-fashioned way, out of sugar cane. |

Is it a cancer? That grows inside the host and eventually kills its host.
The host is us. We have government and local taxation and demands from privatised utilities, landlords who rent out rooms at £700 a month when it is impossible for most to afford mortgages, we have parking and clamping fines from privatised road traffic control companies, we have companies falling over themeselves to sell us something or other after our personal details are sold. Every going concern is making demands on the public.
Technology and the ongoing quest for cheap labour, and low staff levels and yet and open policy for immigration and plus the diminishing job base are strinking income and the peoples purchasing power.
We are in great demand and yet our labour is not. We are all going to be equal some day like peasants are equal. Some are going to be well educated peasants though but we are still going to be equal.
The people are the majority and we need a government by the people of the people not a government of business men run for business men because they clearly don't know how to run the damn country. A country is not run like Enron.
We have four countries to look up to. Brazil, Russia, India and China and possibly Argentina. You would think that was enough to discern a pattern of the way to go.
But how we reinvent the system that we know will put us on the road to recovery means ridding ourselves of the cancer. Cutting it away may not cure the patient but at least there will be hope. And this is before the only recourse will be war. Wars have been started by far less, mostly lies. But the next one will be started by necessity. |

Great to hear you back!
"Tell me more, tell me more, like does he have a ..."
Have you got any links for those articles you mention?
Especially that bit about "UK no longer being part of EU" - They're going to love that in the Scottish Independence debate!
Loved the song - can I download it? Or will some "c*nt"sue me?!
Very interesting the last part - the "rEvolution" - what coming next? Where are we going? Hmmm ...
Looking forward to the next part! |

YEE-HAH! Enjoyed the first show Fintan.
The rEvolution idea or REvolition meme has been floating around in my mind recently.
Looking forward to more financial fireworks in this audio!
It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people!
Keep dem audios coming!
