More good for you stuff:
For thousands of years Psyllium husks have been used in Europe, North Africa, and Asia as a laxative.
Psyllium husks and seeds are often called by their folk name of flea seed because of their brown coloring and small size.
Psyllium Husks provide high levels of fiber that is unequalled in removing accumulated wastes effectively.
Acidophilus is added to help replace any beneficial bacteria that may be removed from the intestinal walls.
Psyllium Husk can also offer nutritional support for the inflammatory response function. Psyllium Husks provide an all-natural way to cleanse the intestines of toxins.

It's the basis of a laxative called Metamucil - available at all chemists.

You can buy the husks at healthfood shops and supermarkets.
I advise that you put the husks in a blender and grind them down to a fine powder. That way a teaspoon mixed with water taken 3 times a day will make you as regular as the sunrise (if you don't grind them down you'll need a tablespoon of husks 3 times a day which may be harder to swallow ) |

Thanks Janama. I'm using senna (cassia angustifolia) at the moment but it's a bit unpredictable .
I've got the husks so, off to buy a blender...

Just like with pharmaceuticals, the supplement industry makes up a disease to sell a pill. Do you have restless legs syndrome? Do you have ADD? Do you have HPV? We don't hear about these diseases until they have a pill for them?
Would people consume Psyllium Husk's normally? What risks may be associated with ingesting them? We know we're lied to about soy, canola, flax, etc, yet we see a good amount of this stuff in health food stores.
If our hands get dirty, do we use bleach or the otherwise strongest cleaning agent we can find? Why not?
I'm a victim of the alternative health industry. Don't end up like me. _________________ opposingdigits.com |

The human papillomavirus? Yes, I do. And it's a bitch. Hopefully it will go away but there's is no telling. I'll know in 6 months' time. I couldn't handle another operation. Trust me, it's a bitch.
